I'm 6'2 from a family of men who are 6'4-6'8 on average. They're all fat though and I maintain so from experience I can tell you that height and weight aren't everything. I can run laps around most of them with just about any given task.

Pudgz was a contender, and champion, for so many years and was a very nice guy. I met him once and he seemed like just a normal guy, no big ego or anything like that. It was definitely something I won't forget. I'm taller than him and look like a toothpick next to him in the pic 😂

These athletes have to take steroids and it's a SACRIFICE of literally take years off their lifespan and other complications. My former Contract Administrator, a retired marine used to do strong man competitions. He was diagnosed with cancer and his life was "dated". His world was turned upside down. His health took a miraculous turn for the better and he started doing age group competitions again. Watching this makes me respect him that much more!

Bill went back to Powerlifting and injured himself and was Never able to regain his WSM Title. Bill and Mariuz are my 2 All-Time Favorite champions.

Let's face it. At 6'2" tall he was one of the smallest competitors yet always the strongest and fastest in the events he was in. He also was "ripped" compared to who he was up against. Very impressive indeed.

I'm 6'2 from a family of men who are 6'4-6'8 on average. They're all fat though and I maintain so from experience I can tell you that height and weight aren't everything. I can run laps around most of them with just about any given task.
Makes me think of my friend Brian's dad in the early 2000s, who used to love telling us stories about his time in strongman competitions. All the while he needed us to open his sodas for him because after years of abusing his grip strength his tendons were absolutely destroyed.
This is the type of guy to open a pickle jar on the first try.

@@shleemlington699 Okay. There's a high possibility that you wouldn't even be able to come close to the strength these people have. These athletes have to take steroids and it's a SACRIFICE of literally take years off their lifespan and other complications. To say what you said is very degrading of these people and chances are, you don't even have an ounce of their work ethic.
My former Contract Administrator, a retired marine used to do strong man competitions. He was diagnosed with cancer and his life was "dated". His world was turned upside down. His health took a miraculous turn for the better and he started doing age group competitions again. Watching this makes me respect him that much more!

So funny, I have watched this video every time it gets thrown in my feed. I am not a sports enthusiast but there is something impressive about seeing a human pull an anchor to chain to end THEN the weight block. Props

@@GregAlcorn Bill Kazmaier was terribly Wronged by the promoters of the World's Strongest Man contest because after he won 3 times he was Barred from Competition at arguably his All-Time Peak. Bill went back to Powerlifting and injured himself and was Never able to regain his WSM Title. Bill and Mariuz are my 2 All-Time Favorite champions.
@@m_k_ron Bill definitely could've been the All-Time Greatest World's Strongest Man if he didn't get Screwed Over by the guys running the Contest. He definitely had Atleast 2 if not 3 more titles in him.
Why was he screwed over
