As a Leicester fan Southampton are the side in form and one to keep and eye one. We had two good games with Ipswich and both sides achieved the same result. There is no advantage. Some may feel we missed out on wins but with a gap at the top it was important we did not lose or concede ground in the table. At the end of the season that is vital. 7-8 points clear of rivals respectively. The first principle of a top clash try to win but if not don't lose

As someone who has watched nearly every Ipswich game this season. Yes, we certainly have had some luck, but we've also completely turned some of the championship teams that are in form, inside out. Not to mention that we could sell the entire first team of Ipswich and still not have enough money to buy Dewsbury-Hall. A real testament to what KM has done for the club. And with the preston game that is more of a valid point but leicester also unfairly went a man down against cov and ended up losing 3-1 over a draw so imo the gap would still be bigger. And leicester sold basically half their squad at the start of the season, maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, castagne, soumare, kristiansen, mendy and (C) Jonny evans are a few I can think of off the top of my head not to mention Leicester got a new manager and managed to adapt quickly to his style of play. As for southampton they lost their fair share of players too aswell as their captain JWP. They also had a 4 game winless run but managed to turn it around and remained consistent. So tbh the argument could be made for all three relegated teams, and imo Leeds have been the worst out of all three

Can’t wait to get Southampton to Elland Road we owe them one for beating a depleted Leeds team. Having watched both these teams last night the mighty Leeds are on the hunt. I saw nothing in these 2 to be concerned. If we had our team and squad ready by August we would be pissing this league!
I always see your fans mention that slow start but leicester and southampton were also going through transition at the start of the season. So I think in all it’s a very valid point

And with the preston game that is more of a valid point but leicester also unfairly went a man down against cov and ended up losing 3-1 over a draw so imo the gap would still be bigger. And leicester sold basically half their squad at the start of the season, maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, castagne, soumare, kristiansen, mendy and (C) Jonny evans are a few I can think of off the top of my head not to mention Leicester got a new manager and managed to adapt quickly to his style of play. As for southampton they lost their fair share of players too aswell as their captain JWP. They also had a 4 game winless run but managed to turn it around and remained consistent. So tbh the argument could be made for all three relegated teams, and imo Leeds have been the worst out of all three
