This is an exciting step forward and will help her on the Olympic journey! The full in just looks almost easy for her. I wonder if she'll ever re-commit to the Fabrichnova. I feel this was a bit underscored however since she didn't have THAT many form breaks

I agree. I think it was a little underscored for her. There didn't seem to be a ton of execution errors. Maybe she just needs more difficulty? IDK but she was awesome on every event today.

@@omglauraelizabeth They probably hammered the finish angle of her toe on full pirouette on the low bar, either that or they didn't credit it due to how low it was. The non credit of the toe full would absolutely kill her D-score, but the finishing angle deduction was likely a half point or more of deduction which is more likely what happened given her score.

No, this was an overscore. 8.2 is a pretty good E score under the current code, for a really clean routine by a good bar worker---only a handful of exceptional bar workers score higher than that. No one should be getting an 8.2 with a missed pirrouette like that, which should have incurred 0.5 deduction. But the good news is that she's posted training videos of those pirouttes looking really great from practice, there's a good chance she can do a lot better in future competions, especially since it's at the beginning of the routine when she's still fresh!

I doubt she's going to change this routine. She's comfortable doing it and it gets the job done.

@@mrparts yup. She said in her post competition interview that she was going to keep bars basically the same but might throw in a skill or two but will most likely be unchanged. She really doesn't need a strong bar set like Shilese or Suni to make the team.

@@omglauraelizabeth WOW!! I have been saying this for a while. If Jade wants to make the team, she will BRING IT! I know it still have ways to go but if she is showing such promise at this stage, one will have to believe she will only get better. GO JADE!

@@aliciamcdonald7105 I have no doubt that Jade will make the Paris team. She always peaks at the right time. She took 5th on bars and there really wasn't much wrong in her execution, I think she needs more difficulty there. She was outstanding today.

It really was!! I bought the event on flip TV and had to reload it every 40 seconds! It kept freezing. It was horrible.

@@hannahmartinez3383 me either! I can't believe they get off charging 65+ for subscriptions. And 20 for this "stream" was also a joke. I almost emailed them to ask for my money back. It wouldn't cast to my TV so I had to watch on my phone. It just kept freezing! And I have fiber optic Internet and a brand new phone so it's very much them. Horrible.

@@leykimayri not everyone has Twitter. I hate Twitter. I would rather pay money to NOT use Twitter. Plus I wanted to see everyone compete, not just the "big names" that will get uploaded to KZhead. Also live scoring is a thing with flip TV so I got the scores in real time as well. Probably the only good thing about their awful streaming "service"
