I think it was a bit of a misleading comment. He mained Hwoarang in tekken 7, and he practiced with other better Hwoarangs. So yes, he knows him as well as if it was his main. He's played him more than either of the Victor or Azu, overall. Victor is cheesy and new, i guess you can say the same with Azu, but not many are familiar with them, in addition to their easier playstyle.

@@dizzy_degenerate There is and isn't at the same time. Between them as friends it doesn't really matter but when the internet is involved things get weird fast. This show boating of them quickly can turn into a false image making them catch unneeded and undeserved flak for the sake of that fake image of them as shown by this game where Lotus who's not even super good at tekken yet was getting so many negative comments in the stream when he's just trying to have fun on a game he practiced in. The stream doesn't know these people personally so it can turn negative quickly when they're fed a false image of them. Lotus being presented as a pro bullying low level players gives him a worse image than him being someone that' just happens to understand the fundamentals of the game a little better and beats them. I'm sure some of them are jokingly negative but those are probably the people that are familiar with Lotus from elsewhere which comparatively is a small number probably. Then that negative image can make it less likely for him to appear on stream even though it was great to see him here because it looks like the chat is responding negatively to him on stream(though they may play off stream after if that's the case) it would just suck to not see him appear again because of something dumb like that.

Breaking throws is not like other fighting games so spamming throws is actually more cheap in Tekken because of it. It's a weakness sure, but knowing that you'll get free damage cause your opponent doesn't even know how to tech grabs is weak.
