So true. I worked at the bagage service, and my supervisor managed to steal two oriental rugs from customs, and when they came to investigate she was playing dumb. TSA lost my husband’s tablet and did not want to really help us making all kind of illogical explanations. When my husband ‘s airline wheelchair escort stepped in and indicated to them that she had already reported the situation to her supervisor and the police was coming, miraculously the tablet appeared!!! I've had someone STEALING my SLIPPERS on our way to Thailand. It happened in the overlay in Dubai! They were of a pretty ivory colour, with ivory flowers on top of the vertical strap of my foot of the slippers. They looked designer but these slippers were from Primark (that was the only place they sold cute slippers like these at the time, that's why I got them...otherwise I NEVER EVER go to the Primark where they sell - baby/children, LOTS of female and some male - clothes, shoes, bags, accesoiries etc for VERY cheap). Joke is on them because the slippers only costed me €5 lol 😅😂! But it was STILL VERY ANNOYING as I loved those slippers because they had a band vertically over the middle of my foot with flowers, horizontally over my toes so I didn't had anything in between my toes and straps around my ankles keeping my feet secured in them. I can't wear normal toe slippers, they fall off my feet and that's because my big toes started to grow to the outsides since I was 8 if that makes sense? Because of this I have (I believe they call them bunions) a triangle between my two big toes if I put my feet next to each other. I have lots of posture issues due to this as well. Once your toes don't have room in between each other like they should...your ENTIRE POSTURE CHANGES WHICH IS VERY NEGATIVE AND CAUSES PAIN IN LOTS OF DIFFERENT AREA'S! I went to a surgeon and he told me that doing that surgery on me wouldn't do me ANY good as they'd literally have to fracture both my big toes, shave off all the access bone of the bunions, place a straight metal rod in each of my big toes so they'll keep "standing" straight...BUT I would NEVER EVER be able to wear heels anymore or move like I can now still move. Those rods would make me unable to even squat down meaning also having my toes bend...All this would not be possible anymore. I also dance (with heels), so that wasn't an option hearing what the surgeon was saying. The surgeon also told me that this surgery REALLY CAN'T GUARANTEE my toes wouldn't get bunions AGAIN! The bunions very often hurt me a lot, makes it feel as if I'm all bruised up there or even feels like it is fractured there. They also get red, literally bruised thus blue/green/purple, swollen etc but I'm happy the surgeon was honest with me and told me not to do the surgery at age 21, he said I was too young. Now I'm 36, the surgeon still adviced me NOT to do this surgeon and just trreat my bunions with ice packs and special cbd creams etc. I also talked with people I know whom all got this surgery done and NONE OF THEM were happy with the results. They all had huge scars on top of their feet, could ONLY WEAR sneakers/flat sole shoes. The women couldn't even wear shoes with a LITTLE heel! Even though their toes were straight (which I'd like for my own feet as well because these bunions make my feet look ugly in my opinion. Other than that I've got real cute/pretty feet but the bunions make me feel like a witch). My toes grew like this because lots of family members have this - genetics - and because my parents had me wearing shoes that were too small for me)! The way they designed shoes IS NOT correct! They make all shoes WAY too small, as in narrow...which results in our toes not having enough room to spread like they should if we would walk bare feet. Shoes make our toes all squished up. Plus due to the soles, we aren't connecting with the earth anymore, meaning we aren't getting any energy/frequencies from earth no more. That's why they say we need to ground ourselves by walking bare feet in the grass or anywhere safe. Haven't you ever noticed that you feel much more healthy, more energetic etc when you're on holiday...mostly walking bare feet? On vacation we get enough sunlight, are grounding as we're walking bare feet, get in the sea water which has it's health properties as well, staring at sun etc. We are meant to have the elements of earth...earth, water, fire, air in our lifes but created a world where we become sick and die at an early age. Luckily there are now few brands that are making shoes based on proper health for our feet. To all parents; PLEASE make sure to do your research when buying shoes for your child(ren). For the love of god, let them wear shoes with enough room for the toes most of the time. There are a few brands making shoes that give our toes all the freedom they need. Crocs does this too. But Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Puma etc all DON'T. The toe box is soooo narrow that our toes get pushed together. Once your toes AREN'T healthy anymore and you don't have space in between them anymore AND even bunions, you're effed! It's NPT JUST your toes! It's about YOUR ENTIRE POSTURE! IF YOUR TOES AIN'T RIGHT, IT AFFECTS YOUR ENTIRE POSTURE IN A VERY VERY NEGATIVE WAY! I have uneven legs now too, pelvis that isn't 100% straight, back issues etc...all because I've got bunions. As parents you can help your child(ren) preventing this happening by buying them PROPER shoes of brands whom take the health of feet very serious! Lots of light, positive vibes and love from the Netherlands 🙏🫶🏼❤️🇳🇱

My dogs are trained to go on puppy pads on the floor. I think if they were in the cabin with me on a long flight, they would be able to tell me they were busting, by pawing at me (like they do when at home, to let me know they want to go outside) and I would take them to the toilet and lay the pad on the floor in there for them. In most airports, you no longer have to take your jewelry off. You never have to take your wedding ring off. I had been gifted for my 40th birthday 20 years ago a wristwatch for my sister that she had engraved on the back happy 40th love and then her name, we went through TSA at the Cleveland Hopkins airport and my wristwatch never came back out and they denied knowing anything about it. Some TSA agent stole my birthday present.

How can a TSA lose a collar going through the X-ray machine? Does it have a worm hole inside somewhere? If they can lose Magnus collar, what’s the chance we can lose our things? Superb job Magnus. Very proud of you. I hope Magnus got it back.

If you put the collar in the bowl and sent it thru the x-ray, TSA didn't lose it. The curtains on the front or back of the barrel may have brushed it off. It was likely still in the machine and retrievable. That sort of thing happens all the time. Remember, you were the last one to touch it, so TSA didn't lose it. Excellent training of your dog.

Fun fact about service dogs and TSA they can not require you to strip your dog or go untethered. Some people choose to do this as it is easier but when my service dog and I fly we stay harnessed because I’m not about to strip her and miss place/re-gear her in the middle of that mess. I put her in a sit stay and extend her leash. I keep the hand holding it on the other side of the machine and then when given the okay I call her through. She sets off the alarm and some lucky agent gets to pat her down. Sometimes I’ll have her sit and stay and call her through after I’m cleared. Either way they can’t force you too. But if you find it is easier more power to you! No judgement just sharing information.

TSA should be renamed Thieves stealing anything! They stole my laptop and the power cord from my luggage!! Luggage thefts and thefts from check points have been outrageous that TSA agents are able to leave the airport without being checked for stolen contraband. Such a well trained and to well behaved dog! I'm sorry they lost his collar, that makes it so much more challenging for you to travel with him! They could have left it on, it's not like it could contain a weapon or drugs or anything Hazardous!

TSA has been fucking disgusting lately! In my last three trips we have had two out of the three times where we had TSA agents who had no clue about their own disability program and when I used their technical terms as advised by TSA's customer service, they didn't follow protocol. The last time was the final straw for me as it could have put my disabled son in a seriously dangerous situation.

When going through TSA you may choose to leave their gear on, but that also means that TSA can ask to pat down the dog. I opt for the patdown so that I don't have to worry about this and also in case there are other dogs in the vicinity as you never know how well trained ANYONE'S dog is. It also helps me with my anxiety to leave at least a collar with a a short leash on it (her SD harness comes off, but ill leave her other stuff like shoes and collar on)

My dog did _not_ react to the aggressive dog, but just gave the other dog a look like “Get a grip and focus on _your_ person!” He then looked at me with a “I still have _you_! You’ll be fine!”

Ever since working at the airport, I learned the hard way..things don’t just miraculously go missing. Don’t let your guard down people.
So true. I worked at the bagage service, and my supervisor managed to steal two oriental rugs from customs, and when they came to investigate she was playing dumb. Her brother was working in the back, in the sorting department. Two huge rugs, with customs tape on them. You had to see that comedy, but she was never fired
So true… as a passenger Going through security in Spain, One of my carry on bags had mysteriously disappeared from the conveyor by the time I got to the other side. Poof!!! Gone!!!
@@catswhisper This is insane! Don't they have security cameras?
@@CL-bm7bssure but funny how some at the time ur needing them they magically aren’t working 🧐
It is ridiculous that this is allowed. ALLOWED. From working as customer service to GSA it’s all the same. This is a government job too and Yes there are cameras literally everywhere. TSA gives you hell and potentially make you miss your flight they don’t care. They are just keeping an eye out for what they can take home. I used to work GSA. I enjoyed my time there but stealing is just One of the things that they got away with… Happy to see that we all agree!
TSA lost my husband’s tablet and did not want to really help us making all kind of illogical explanations. When my husband ‘s airline wheelchair escort stepped in and indicated to them that she had already reported the situation to her supervisor and the police was coming, miraculously the tablet appeared!!! This is frequently happening in airports and is disappointing.
Camera,s should help
He's amazing!!! He's a good boy, hope you give him lots of treats.
Boy, that is rude! Disabled person gets robbed while following their rules. So glad tablet was located.
How can they misplace a dog collar on a conveyer belt that is right in front of them
It’s not disappointing; it’s disturbing that TSA are getting away with it.
They make a service dog remove their collar and lose it 😮 Your dog is very well trained, and I love your shirt!
It's well trained because it's a service dog
@colleenriley2232 you think people's pets can't be well-behaved?
@@aperocknroll88 They absolutely can be. Mine are. But a service dog is trained far beyond a well trained dog.
I would think "stole" is also more like it. There is usually no more than 30ft without a collar (more like 15 ft at most. Some took that collar
Not all service dogs behave all the time. I have quite a few friends with them. They are dogs not robots after all.@colleenriley2232
TSA is full of irresponsible people! To lose a service dogs collar that fast? What’s wrong with them? 🤦♀️
Definitely not very responsible
Incompetent , don't care
Come across border and he can wear armour and not be checked
When it’s gone that fast, one of them swiped it for sure.
Seriously. I got patted down in the privates area because I was wearing a period underwear and the scanner showed red in that area for me (not that it matters but I was also only wearing leggings and a fitted tee). Then, on the return trip, I got patted down because my joggers had a side zipper 😭 Meanwhile my cowboy of a brother-in-law tells me that the month prior, he'd forgotten he had his utility knife in his back pocket, going through the same TSA. They just nodded and let him on through.
How did the TSA lose a collar when it went into a plastic box through the X-ray machine and out the machine how?
Booooo

That's ok, but when I reached my Destinaltion, most of my Unmentionables were gone from my Suitcase.Go Figure. I am gonna tell them I am standing there to watch from now on. The Nerve of some People.

Definitely stolen. The collar didn't get up, and walk off the tray, on its own.
Of course they stole it. Sadly to say, there are some thugs working at airports.
What value of that would it be to be stolen as opposed to his wallet or his electronics. That’s such a strange conclusion, stop assuming the worst of people.

Someone in that line liked that collar or someone was upset about your dog. Maybe thinking he’s not an actual service dog. People are evil.

Yes! They! Are!

Next time put it in your checked luggage.
Could it be mailed?
How do you handle service dog poo and pee on a long flight? I'm legitimately curious.
I was just wondering the same when I saw your comment 😂😂
@user-kj5hw9ck6w I had to Google. Service dogs are trained to go on command and onto/into containers or puppy pads. So, for dogs that fit in the bathroom, they just take them there and let them do their business and flush/dispose of it.
It’s a good question… I think this would be the most sensible solution to that dilemma. 🫡 Jen. Australia. ❤️🙏❤️🇦🇺❤️
And I’m not positive, but I believe some airports have service dog areas specifically for SD’s and ESA to use an indoor potty area. And just as an aside, please, PLEASE, never let your pet be flown, they are kept in cargo where it isn’t temperature controlled and pets are lost or injured all the time. It’s a terrible experience for the animal.
Beautiful little dog. Trainng our 4 month old. It is beautiful to watch him grow with all the training to be a beautiful placid obedient little man. ❤️ 😊

Many of them get arrested for stealing things from the customers/passengers sometimes if you have money loose in your bag and they’re doing their search, be aware your cash could come up missing
Nope. They are on film at all times. If they steal, they get caught. You need to take a closer look at airline employees and the rampers (people who load your luggage onto the plane). That's where you'll find the thieves.
Isn't his collar like a medical info bracelet? So you gunna get dinged with a "untethered animal" when you leave?
Seen a video where some employees were stealing items as the bags and personal belongings went thru. Stoled his collar probably.

Absolutely ❤❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏🙏🙏
I hope that the TSA Mgr has enough decency to replace it, so sorry this happened to you.♥️♥️♥️
Why it's in the hands of somebody who's acting like somebody responsible! That's a crying shame! 💪🏽🐾🤲🏽♥️
Yes I agree too TSA is irresponsible for losing service dog’s collar thankfully Doggy is so well behaved n trained God Bless ❤❤❤❤
I went to the US in 2016. The TSA lady was very rude to me. I put my stuff in the basket and a TSA man warned me to watch my stuff as it was going through.
As a flight attendant, I am thankful TSA wouldn’t DARE touch my things. They would get a new butt hole made by their superiors, and it just annoys me that some people don’t get that option.
TSA needs to replace his collar!!! This BS!!! What an adorable and well mannered dog! I'm sorry this happened
Great training, beautiful dog.❤❤❤❤😊
What a gorgeous baby ❤
When going through TSA you may choose to leave their gear on, but that also means that TSA can ask to pat down the dog. I opt for the patdown so that I don't have to worry about this and also in case there are other dogs in the vicinity as you never know how well trained ANYONE'S dog is. It also helps me with my anxiety to leave at least a collar with a a short leash on it (her SD harness comes off, but ill leave her other stuff like shoes and collar on)
Glad the collar was found. 😊
This can depend on the airport. At JFK they had my dog go through the metal scanner walking beside me. My dog had a metal free collar on and TSA switched out my metal cane for a wood one to walk through.
My personal experience with TSA is that they have absolutely no hiring standards
Things just don't disappear like that! They are taken by somebody, I'm sorry that happened to the two of you. It's already stressful for both of you. You shouldn't have to deal with that BS.❤😊❤
He is so beautiful ❤
What a beautiful, beautiful dog
Someone there who works with TSA stole the collar! How sad!
Magnus is just wonderful ❤🎉
My service dog is a small breed. My husband misplaced his harness. The other week, a large German Shepherd (with a Service Dog Vest) _lunged_ very aggressively at my service dog. My dog did _not_ react to the aggressive dog, but just gave the other dog a look like “Get a grip and focus on _your_ person!” He then looked at me with a “I still have _you_! You’ll be fine!”
I went through a metal detector today at the Courthouse were I live and it went off! I have metal plates and screws in my TMJ joints, in my neck at C-5 C-6, lower back and metal hip replacement 😂🤣. 💖💕
Beautiful and well trained ❤❤❤
