A new day has arrived in tripod camera head design and functionality! The Platyball turns the head literally, on its head and removes all the knobs creating the perfect tool. They look a bit like a fishing reel. Great concept, people taking a well accepted system like a ball head that's not really advanced in years and turning it on its head - literally, fantastic.
I prefer my Arca Swiss p0… sure it’s more expensive but it does it job very well and has a single metal ring for locking/unlocking the ball…

Good luck with this but I don’t think I can trust those push buttons for very long… Maybe is just me .

Kickstart supporters were lucky to get elite for 250.....the retail asking price of 385 doesn't justify the ball head you can get much better options in that price range.
