Good tip about Rian surviving because of weak hits and defiant set. I was completely stumped for options for this stage.
That was the hardest SD stage tbh Only 1 option and must have miracle heal
Defiant Set seems to be important. with 86k HP, 4k defence and Regenaration/Immortal, it does not work. I only have a 2 star sould with Miracle Heal. The HP get destoyed too much (only 50 % chance to get restored), and Rian gets killed after a while . Maybe 3 star would help (75 % chance), better 5 star (100 %). But I think that the 15 % AOE damage reduction of the defiant set make the difference. Thanks for the strategy, I will keep working on Rian.
yeah, Miracle heal is very important for this stage and Rian is actually the key for rotation 4 & 5 so he definitely worth the investment
I only had 75k hp on Rian but I did have one defiant set. Also the defensive masteries to reduce aoe damage and damage reduction with hits over time (delay death). I also did this much faster by using a full team with Rian, Gorgorab, Lydia, Urost and Husk. I use Urost ally protect just before the swarm so that helps Rian to survive. Then I revive Gogorab who then revives everyone else. Then Lydia puts dec def/weaken and Husk uses his max hp hit which takes 10% (based on passive). Then just cycle through the turns until Urost turn before swarm again use ally protect and rinse and repeat. I don't know how much the dec def/weaken affects damage but this could probably be faster with two husks or if Urost or Lydia hast brimstone
btw I don't think defense is that important since the swarm ignores 100% defense and the other skills don't hit as hard

Bad el is not even a good option, I choose it coz it was bad enough U can choose Mithrala, and just spam A1, or any hp burn champ Make sure Rian is tanky enough, with Miracle heal
