  • India lost to china in 62 but no one taught us that India has won 2 wars with china in 1967 and 1987!

    @HDtothe8@HDtothe8Ай бұрын
    • First you need to learn the difference between a 'war' and a 'skirmish'. For example - balakot strike inside paxtan and their retaliation was a skirmish. 1971 Bangladesh independence war between India and paxtan was a war. We didn't win any war against china! Stop fooling yourself. In 1962 our military literally folded like a house of cards. They didn't even put up a fight in most places. Most of our soldiers died while running back. Chain of command was basically useless from the top. That humiliation should be rememberes so we can better ourselves.

      @abhilash9918@abhilash9918Ай бұрын
    • You need to read the history properly. As your knowledge about the Indian army is very shallow. The soldiers died while fighting not while running.

      @raviraibhayana@raviraibhayanaАй бұрын
    • @@abhilash9918 you need to Google skirmish. Regardless, some call the 1962 war "an armed conflict" so let's not get into semantics. Point is we are always taught the defeatist history, how we were losers in the past. That's definitely not the case and it needs to be highlighted. Especially to the new generation.

      @HDtothe8@HDtothe8Ай бұрын
    • @@raviraibhayana you're delusional. Most of our casualties happened during a chaotic retreat. There's whole procedure of how a military should retreat if the need arises. The Chinese basically committed war crimes by shooting fleeing soldiers in the back. We did put up fight in some places, for ex major shaitaan singh. Nd Chinese suffered massive casualties. How tf do you think Chinese were able to capture such a vast area in such a short amount of time? Stop fooling yourself.

  • It's true that present India is not 1962 India. But the same logic is equally true for China too i.e., 1962 China & present China. So India should be extra aggressive in dealing with any Chinese mis-adventure. India should be prepared always thinking that Indo-China war is imminent.

American intelligence is near "real-time" and also available to India via the Quad 4 - and has been used in a major border skirmish with the Chinese, Indian forces were more nimble and capable due to it. The Indian Navy is capable of stopping oil trade that is a lifeline for China *until they build out infrastructure with the Russians* - so their electronic warfare capability is really NOT good enough to counter so many capabilities from Indian forces.

But skillful diplomacy and good communication guided by top-notch public relations specialists and negotiators and media barons/specialists will also go a long way to mitigate tensions and reduce the possibility of an accidental war. Behind the fine 'soft skills' or managing emotions - there must be a strong nuclear force with hard-to-stop missiles like the K-4 with maneuvering capability till its target and the Mach 25 Agni-5 missiles. Lots of nuclear warfare training (100 - 200 drills) and secure and nimble nuclear attack teams guided by decision support systems are a must...
