    • I worked at Both of the Ross’s in my town for 2 years and I was a Front End Supervisor and I loved some of my coworkers but my manager at the second store I worked at was the worst. She worked us all the time I never got days off because she would change the schedule on my day off and then call me saying I was on the schedule and if I didn’t show up I’d get written up for that day.. I got soooo much overtime even though we didn’t have the hours to give and then I’d get in trouble for working 15+ OT hours🙄

  • I currently work at Ross as an SPS and honestly the job can be so mind numbing sometimes whenever the store is slow but if you have someone suspicious there makes the job enjoyable. I’ve seen some crazy shit and I’ve been an SPS for about a month now but I was a sales associate from when I started in September. I personally love working there because I have a great team and managers otherwise the job itself can be draining especially knowing people are constantly stealing. Just wanted to let others know that its really about your environment because having great coworkers and managers really make it worth Wild our store feels like a small family! I’m sorry to those who have not had the same experience with the company as I have.

  • Omg yes, I’ve worked at Ross for a year and a half and this is all so true. I started out in stock but made the not so wonderful choice of volunteering to learn the register during the holidays and I’ve been a cashier now pretty much 98% of the time, which I have come to hate because I feel like we get screwed over the most work wise, versus someone on the floor, or maybe that’s just my Ross. And the full time comment is TRUE. I work 8-9 hour shifts and I am slowly losing my sanity. My managers are SO cool tho so that makes it better.

    @victoriaelton2130@victoriaelton21305 жыл бұрын
    • You're lucky that you have cool managers. I am a so called social butterfly meaning I can't stay quiet. Im a person who likes to talk a lot so when I do I get in trouble for it. At first it was alright but by the time we had the third store manager I was pretty much screwed. Yeah being on register sucks because if theres a long line you can't really go to the restroom or take a break. In stock you're there a couple hours nobody bothers you and you're done. lol

  • For any future SPS: If you take your job seriously, observe and report. You will be promoted quickly. To another store and higher SPS title where you are allowed to do something. So hang in there, as numbing and testing it may be. That promotion is worth it.

  • I watched this video both before I was employed at Ross and some months after (now) and I can LITERALLY feel what you guys are saying... Ross was my worst job and I literally cannot stress that enough. This video stuck in my mind from up until I quit (legitimately like... 2 months at most) it was so awful.

  • What an old video lol, i currently work SPS at Ross here in California. The job isnt too good, as a part time worker theres many reasons to not work at Ross. Been there for over a year now and the worst part of the job is the check in, managers want that shit perfect. Other than that, the only fun part of the job is calling thieves out and getting it right and saying "i told you so" but some managers don't do their job right nor confront the thieves. Lots of thieves btw!

  • SPS is a great Job! I get 40 hours and our 2 mobiles get 20 hours each. Freaking shoplifters out is the best part of the job! 😂 Also we only stare and shadow with repeat shoplifters. Plus if our presence doesn't work and they steal, oh well... The store still makes 40-60 thousand dollars a day easily. Easiest job ever. It's only boring when our mobiles are not there and I'm by myself for 4-8 hours.

In my experience like I said it's the ones who look like thier on something little skinny gangsters that look like their name would be smoke daag , and the ones that will actually punch you square faces built like little tanks sweaty in the face with beedy eyes lol.
