I enjoyed this movie. A lot of people took this movie WAY too seriously though. People forget Shazam and his family are KIDS. So this isn’t gonna be your typical Batman or Superman movie.

It was a OK movie but when you read the actual comic books, the kid (Billy Batson) when he becomes Shazam, he doesn't act goofy and childish like how the movie is portraying it. He acts like a full fledge mature adult, he doesn't act like a kid. That's why I found this movie to be annoying. They didn't go with the lure of the actual comic books.

@@dsingsitNo. It depends on the lore of a mythology to classify what a god is. Some mythology only classifies someone a god if they have a domain they rule over, gets empowered based on it or from worship. Some other mythology have a god be a god because they just have divinity or the position if one. In both of these cases Shazam isn't a god because the champion only draws certain aspects of gods but not their actual domain or divinity, aside from the general divine empowerment from the living lightning of a sky god. Also a god can be a god even if they are pathetically weak on their own due to their domain being something like being drunk or some other crap like that.

Shazam gets hit by a dragon tail, the force of the blow knock's him through a building and he gets up and right back in the fight, but she hits him (not hard enough to break a cement pillar) and he is almost done in? Terrible movie...
Did you miss the part where she's a Goddess. As she said she's the daughter of Atlas, Titan of Strength and endurance, the guy that holds up the sky. She hits as hard as he does.

My point is that she CAN hit that hard, but doesn't and he gets hit with a wooden crate and is dazed, slammed against a concrete wall and is knocked out, is staggered over and over--as she is-- by blows, where in other places (like with the Dragon) he just shrugs off. They could have done this soooo much better.

So, that was “hilarious”? I’m glad I didn’t waste my time with the whole movie.
What I found funny is the petty tension between Hespera(the old lady) and Shazam. The parts where Shazam seems high and mighty that he think he won against an old lady seems like some beef between the neighbor kids and a grumpy old lady. The funniest part is where he slams her after she's clearly down, and she revenge slams him after.
It was funny. You’re just 💀 inside.
The action is boring. This movie is even worse than the first Shazam movie
