  • Oh, man! Whenever I see humans never-ending thirst for power, money and pleasure which come at the cost of harm, cruelty and destruction then seeing this devotion and their chanting voices in the Himalayan regions of Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal take me to another dimension. I truly love Himalayan Buddhism! Thanks a lot for the awesome content Poppy and to your tour guide too.

    • Every year, more than 3 million foreign tourists come to Tibet, China, and the number continues to increase. The beautiful scenery and ancient buildings of Tibet, the friendly and simple life of the local Tibetan people have left a deep impression on foreign tourists. Fortunately, Tibet was incorporated into China's territory more than 1000 years ago, and historical buildings and cultural relics were preserved. Therefore, Tibet is very lucky to belong to China, and every foreign visitor is very lucky to come to Tibet.

  • I did the same tour (except the in-house visits), with a different guide , I remember your guide, he introduced me to a Dutch girl who was in his tour. I'm also Dutch, but a mix between Caribbean and Dutch, you could see how puzzled and amazed he was that one country can inhabit people so different from the outside. I can not stop thinking about the looks in the eyes of Tibetan people, not scared, not condescending, not intimidated, no hate, but just so proud that they saw someone like me.. They just couldn't stop smiling, they made me feel special, so proud of the skin color I have. Wish I could have experienced it earlier in my life.

  • This nunnery looks so Beautiful. 20 years Back, nunneries in general used to look poor comparing to monasteries, because nunns used to be less powerful. As a woman,I'm happy that things have changed in a positive way.

    • In Tibet, nuns and monks are in same position, and equally respect to both monasteries and nunneries, their development has nothing to do with power, rather people's devotions and visitors.

    • Hi Vison, that doesn't make sense as those who visit Tibet is not to see the infrastructure development of Tibet, rather their main purpose is to see the ancient sites like Potala Palace and other ancient monasteries, if they really want to see only development and infrastructure, then they won't come to Tibet

    • Do you think the Chinese regime allow foreign tourist to go wandering around occupied Tibet visiting any Buddhist temple they choose? It's no accident this ;nunnery' is polished and highly presentable, it's nothing but a tourist curio and disinformation venue to deceive the tourist into the illusion of a thriving Buddhist culture in Tibet. Ask the former nuns of Larung Gar how much they were respected by the paramilitary Chinese who demolished their nunnery and forced themm into Chinese uniforms to sing in praise of Xi Jinping!

Your videos are very artistic, informative and exquisite, full of breathtaking views and sights, accompanied by excellent and fittest background music, immersing us with exceptional experiences and unique artistic enjoyment! However, I have to remind you two: please keep alert of the outbreak of corona virus epidemic if you two are still in China! Please wear masks when you’re out to meet people, and try to avoid seriously affected cities like ......most major cities in China....... Happy Chinese lunar new year, but keep healthy and alert at the same time...... and I am very happy to see that Jordan seems to have recovered from her altitude sickness caused by your trip to Everest Camps in this video!

The restaurant was beautiful and delicious the foods look. Everywhere there were wooden furnitures, does Tibet have timber forests? ... I thought they have just snow.
