Not racial profiling, but it’s the culture. I work with Indians all the time in the transportation industry and even in legit business they act the same way. Once again, this is an observation, no issues with Indians. I have noticed that business is just a bit different as far as etiquette, scammer or otherwise.

Don't worry, he doesn't actually get $46000 from the scammers - that's just some clickbait BS. The scam works by modifying the html on their bank website to make it display $46000 higher than it should. They then ask you to send them "back" the $46000, and you end up losing $46000 of your money when they haven't sent you any money at all.

I teared up a little bit seeing this. You should straight be employed by the government or some big companies for this amazing work you do. My mom got taken by these guys for $3K. Not a fortune or even a lot in the big scheme of things, but it was devastating for her. These guys are a plague on society, so seeing you settle the score a bit brings a lot of satisfaction.

I can understand the scammers getting angry. What I can't understand are the repeated threats of sexual violence. That is a much deeper problem, and coming from a society which allows this mindset. In the US, a crazy criminal might threaten to kill a person they are mad at, but, they wouldn't, in general, threaten sexual violence toward a person or their mother or other family members. This is very serious problem, that they think sexual violence is OK. Thank you, Pierogi, for what you do.
They are little boys housed in adult bodies (usually male, but admittedly sometimes there are female scammers too). When they epically fail and get the script flipped on them they revert to that infantile toxic male persona. They are the absolute worst version of men from their respective countries. The majority of people in their own countries despise them as well.
Some people disregard women, and so they can curse and talk sexual violence to your family especially to your mother and sister. Because to them, when you say cursing and sexual violence to their family, it’s an insult and they want you to feel what they would feel when someones does it to them.

I just got off the phone with an Indian guy who claimed to be with Visa, saying that I had charges against a Visa card that I have, he said that a transaction was made for 300 and a cash advance for 1300. He SAID he was in Toronto, I'm Canadian, and immediately I said "You're not in Toronto!", he said "where am I?", I said "you're in Kolkata"....the guy hung up! I checked the phone number, it wasn't in service......Thank you PIEROGI!

Love this. I keep getting calls for "spectrum" service, one for a police donation and another for veteran. They are all targeting my dad but I answer the phone for him a lot. The so-called Spectrum one is continually from an Indian call center. They call daily which comes into my landline caller ID as various Unavailable, Out of Area or a local number with some name. I chewed one out today and he continued to stay on the line as I spouted obscenities at him(it). These people are despicable.

Hello! My family and I own a small business and have been experiencing a lot of spams calls all coming from San Juan in Orange County. These ppl are all the same and have even insulted my sister when confronted calling us names is their habit but their calls won’t stop even asked nicely. We suspect they are also deliberately leaving bad Yelp reviews and forwarding our info to other spamming companies. This has impacted us pretty negatively and I guess it’s part of being a small business but would help to know if there’s away to prosecute this ppl or how to make things better? I got an IRS scam call the other day. I wasted 10 minutes of the scammers time before they figured out I was aware of them and they hung up. Wish I had the skills to scam them for $46k, but wasting their time was satisfying nevertheless.
They dont actually transfer the money. They edit the website through inspect element (?) and just alter the value shown. Why should they bother to send him actual $46k just for him to send it back?
That’s ten minutes they weren’t talking with someone’s grandparents or someone whose tech illiterate or has a handicap. Those are precious minutes where someone’s life wasn’t ruined. It’s not much but it’s something.

That’s because it costs the banks or equivalent of money to reimburse you as that money is definitely lost and not coming back from the scammer once the transaction is complete. So by paying you not only are they losing money and taking on legal blame for failing to keep your account safe. So in order to ensure people aren’t just idiots cost in the companies money some are sleepy enough to look gorgeous every minute thing that could indicate this being on you

The small-talk as an 81 yr old woman was so spot on lol. I used to work at a call center as a licensed health insurance agent, selling AARP Medicare Supplement Plans and Medicare Part D and spoke to elderly people all day long. There were so many who would call in just to have somebody to talk to because they were lonely. When you said nobody gives you birthday cards anymore with that old voice, it really brought me back. I’d hear things like that daily. These scammers are so disgusting to prey on these lonely elderly folks who are on such a tight budget.. and to hear the lack of give-a-fuck with their snide comments and childish rantings of basically just whatever “bad words” they know in English really makes me so appreciative of the work you do. Thank you for being a sincerely great human being. ❤️🇺🇸

@@TudorStephen I’m not sure if you’re familiar with call centers (seems not), but many are used for legitimate businesses. As I stated above, I was a licensed health insurance agent. The company paid all of my licensing fees and I was licensed to sell health insurance in all 50 states. I scammed nobody. I sold supplemental health insurance plans and Medicare part D (prescription drug plans) to people on Medicare. The plans were insured by United Healthcare, who were affiliated with AARP. My employer at the time was the Hartford. Go ahead and look them all up if you wish. You will see they are all legitimate companies who’ve been around for a very long time. I took pride in my work and spent a lot of time making sure each person got the plan that was right for them. And if our drug plans weren’t the best for them, I was nice enough to let them know that as well and gave them information on who to call to get the best plan for them. Have a great day! 👋

This part of the video actually gave me a really good idea why doesn't someone create a website we're lonely people can post that it's their birthday or a memorable day coming up. Send anonymous people can wish him a happy birthday or send condolences notes to them on the site. No direct communication between the two so that no one can scam them. And a monitoring system so that nobody can know who the other person is. Maybe have everyone register an account before they can send messages or receive them.
Thanks for doing this and exposing these POS! They just got my elderly mom in the last 2 weeks, I’m not sure on the whole process of what she did when she called them but it was one like they charged her for a iPhone and she thought it was real and opened her account online and got her to send more somehow. She feels more embarrassed which makes me even more upset. Please just keep doing what you’re doing and get rid of these guys. Thanks again.

Homeland is involved, its just that their priorities put these scammers near the bottom and other crimes that involve the direct lives of Americans at the top priority. As horrible as these scammers are, they dont directly kill people, they steal money like a bank robber from an old lady. There are worse crimes that get their attention (namely domestic terrorism and the failed drug war)

Got scammed for $300 recently on a botch giveaway. Be careful out there guys they are getting better. Really seemed legit too I even had a friend look at the transactions. I’ve been following scammer payback for two years now And I still got got!!! Crazy out there but we keep learning and they will keep trying

@@DailyShit. Maybe not to the level of getting the scammers arrested, but he does pass on all the info he gets from the scammers (e.g. bank account numbers) to the proper authorities. Iirc, he also has a team working behind the scenes that calls the victims on the scammer's lists and warns them. He usually only mentions it at the end of videos though, it's obviously not the main focus.

Thank you for doing what you do, unfortunately my 71 year old dad fell for the amazon Prime scam that's been going around. Sadly I was at work otherwise they wouldn't have been able to scam him. They had my dad on the phone for over 4 hours, got onto our computer and they got away with $29,800 from my Dad's bank account. These people are sorry excuses for human beings! While the scammers who got my dad will probably never get caught and face justice, it is nice to know there are guys like you out there trying to stop these scammers, and save and protect while like my dad.
Wow, that's an incredible amount of money. My ex husband got scammed this summer out of nearly 1000. and he's 70, it was like he was mesmerized by the scammers although my daughter and grandson kept telling him they were scammers. He just kept saying be quiet to them, that he was taking care of things, something about a warranty on the car I think. After they took his money he came out of his daze, was contrite, couldn't believe he listened to the scammers. They maxed his credit card but didn't get his bank info because my grandson hung up the phone. Crazy to know these scammers exist.

My missus just had her Facebook hacked so that inappropriate material could be uploaded to it. Then her Facebook and instagram got shut down permanently and her iPhones IP blacklisted by Facebook so she can even get on Facebook and can’t connect with her clients. Nobody even demanded anything from her. They just did it for fun 😡

@Rica Rya true. Once I deleted it, I found better ways to interact with my clients. I may have lost some because they couldn’t find me to check me out on Facebook but I think I gained just as many by being personable and preferring to do business face to face. Facebook is poison

Someone hacked a friend's facebook account and then asked to be friended. It was someone I knew, so I agreed. (Sometimes people do "start over" with new accounts for what ever reason....I guess.... ) Then, my "friend" start talking about getting free government grant money. I told them I didn't need any free government money, and then my "friend" typed a cussword. "Why the F not?" At that point I knew it wasn't him, because he doesn't talk like that. I then went and found the friend on messenger and told him his account had been hacked. Then I went back and told the hacker that he was scum and I got a few more cuss words. lol
I know two people here locally personally that were financially ruined by these kinds of scammers. One a retired widow that lost her entire retirement and another father who lost everything including his family over this crap. Don’t stop.
Sad, this is why this stuff is important.
