I think it's the other way around honestly. I don't think Klopp is leaving because of the doc, but rather they are making the doc now because he is leaving.
Hard to say without being inside the club
Yep that’s exactly it, imagine people think the club value a few mill from a fly on the wall documentary over keeping Klopp 😂😂😂
Is literally the reason they’ve said it’s to capture his final months at the club
@@Chloethemarxenjoyerlol it's not hard to say . If you've been following the situation it's been said they're making a documentary on klopp leaving
Agreed. Don’t know why there is all this speculation. If Klopp was leaving due to a documentary being filmed - filming would have started already and Klopp’s announcement would have been sooner rather than later.
Great speculation Tom, you seem to have multiple firm grips of the situation. I just wish multiple well-connected Liverpool journalists hadn't come out and said they are making the doc because of him (they have). It's also too bad we haven't heard from Klopp directly about the matter (We have, Klopp said: “With this being my final season I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special - its people. From our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpool Football Club. Thanks to this new documentary series viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.” Definitely sounds like a guy leaving his post because of a doc here.) Your handle on things continues to leave me incredibly... limp... actually...
He is indeed good with gripping
wtf did i just read
Really enjoy this podcast. All 4 of you are absolutely killing it!!!
This is Lewis’s best take ever
Love the content lads. Keep it up
Surprised Fleegle, Droopy and Snorky weren't given a mention.
If the owners had the choice of documentary or klopp, there is no way in hell they make a documentary
He said it was when they were planning next years pre season and tranfers that he couldn't picture himself at the helm. I think it is more accurate that he was upset with the lack of investment and / or the strategy going forwards
tired of city dominance like we all are
@@nathankennedy3927 the fact they got away with spending like no club can now ever due to FFP so are now leagues ahead. Like obviously other clubs could've done it too and no one took the chance but still, the fact they are where they are due to spending so much and much of it probably not legally. I think they will start to decline slowly as I think they've got a couple really good players who are getting on age wise and others who are potentially looking for a money move. but atm just 2 like 60m signings per season is enough to keep them on top for the next couple years. I could easily see them doing a 5 or 6 peat if they win it this year over liverpool and liverpool dont bring in the right manager or FSG just don't back them.
Ljinders said he’s going into management so if we offered him the chance to stay on as gaffer I don’t see why he’d say no unless he doesn’t think he’s ready for that yet
Alonso prefers Liverpool to madrid he said when he retired Liverpool was always home and his club and he felt love there like no where else
Emery would be class for liverpool
Lewis and Theo laughing at Tom's shout out to West Brom's manager then mentioning Mourinho and Zidane 😅😅😅😅. Warra-ball knowledge.
So surprised no one said ruben amorim
Why? None of them have any idea who he is
Surprised nobody said Gary O’Neil since he coached our U23s also
1. Alonso 2. De Zerbi 3. Iraola 4. Loptegui 5. Zidane/Bielsa (think both would reject) 749: Carlos Corberan
I like the Carlos shout, he is class, Lewis and Theo laughing about it is mad cause he is actually brilliant, think about what he did at Huddersfield, they were 3rd then he left and they nearly went down
Doesnt matter hes not prem experienced. He is almost guaranteed to fail at liverpool
@@cameronsmith7328 guess that meant arteta would fail at arsenal cause he isn’t prem experienced?, ange at spurs who has spent most of his career in Japan?, pep has talked so highly about Carlos since 2012, he is a fantastic manager…
Can’t lace Marescas boots let alone Klopp
As a west brom fan, it is an outrageous take I love having him as gaffer, but his time at olympiakos was horrific, and his only top flight job to date
@@jacklaird4160 The difference is Ange won Japanese, Australian leagues, and Asia Cup with Australia before going to celtic and impressing there too.
Nagelsmann won't stay after the Euro's, he is on a 7month contract and for sure has the ambition to go back to a top club
Surprised no one has threw Ruben Amorims name into the hat
Flick is a good choice he is free he is German, has won a treble with bayern ,was phenomenal for them, ofc slonso is a front runner tho
Theo is jokes having a go at lewis about knowing about girona like he dont literally does the same with most his football opinions 😂 this guy said allison was overrated not too long ago
Klopp has said the the reason they are doing it now is because he is leaving and he wants the show the fans what it’s like behind the scenes before he goes
Hi 👋👋👋👋
Obviously Howe would Leave for Liverpool what is that Geordie ferret on about?
is it that far fethced though? newcastle have as much to spend as an entire country and newastle fans seem to love him
Theo 3rd pick of naglesman shows his horrific ball knowledge, why Liverpool wait till late June/early July to make decision when they have from now to decide lol
Would not wont de zerbi
Tbf tho gerrard did very well at rangers
Can't see why Emery isn't getting mentioned more?
Hasn’t got the best record for managing big teams like Arsenal and PSG. Tends to prefer projects
u really think the club would rather lose klopp and have a documentary than just keep klopp? it might be an additional reason but there’s no way the owners would make that trade. Klopp has sheltered the owners from hatred for years, we saw last season where we needed 3/4 midfielders in what happened and the owners only got a little pressure on them, there’s no way a manager can come in and do the things klopp does with his spend, even pep id be worried with coming in cus he has a lot of signings that haven’t done well or he hasn’t improved them past their cost whereas klopp consistently buys players and within a year they’re worth 50% more than what we signed him for
Nagelsmann is free after the Euros
Thomas you’re wrong he genuinely is running out of energy it’s not a fly on the wall documentary in the way you’re thinking there is no cameras in the dressing room and that was the reason he said he’d leave if they put a camera in his dressing room
Before I see the lists just want to say Motta is going under appreciated. He’s doing incredibly with Bologna
Tom thinks he’s right but he’s not. If he didn’t wanna be in that documentary he wouldn’t. He’s still gonna be in it, if he didn’t wanna be in a documentary he would’ve left the club or gonna be leaving before it is filmed
Xavi and thiago mota???
Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi, Julian Nagelsmann, and Thomas Frank should be the only serious competitors for the job imo
amorim?
They are making the doc to document his last season, he himself has said this. The club wouldnt do the doc if they knew it would lose them klopp... come on... think...
Ruben Amorim
Albion bender
Theo’s little “who isn’t” when talking about chasing city. He has no idea whatsoever try being a fan of Liverpool in those times.
You only lost to them twice mate it’s not that much big arsenal’s already lost it once to em so they know
@@101notfound17 there’s a bit more substance than that though bud it wasn’t by 1 point on the last day of the season though was it. And Liverpool never bottled the leagues we figured for Liverpool and city were perfect for 3 full seasons.
1. Steven Gerrard 2. Steven Gerrard 3. Steven Gerrard 4. Steven Gerrard 5. Stevie G
Dont forget Slippy G
Did Reev forgot to HAND over his shortlist to PitchSide???
They are doing the documentary because klopp is leaving not the other way around
Theo Baker hates smaller teams.
They’re doing the documentary because he’s leaving.
Being a baggies fan. Carlos is shit mate. I don’t care about this no money lark. Third highest wage bill. Second most expensive squad value after Leicester. We have very experienced championship and lower end premier players. He struggled massively of Plan A doesn’t work. I wouldn’t give a toss if he left.
Nagelsmann >>>
Theo has had such sensible opinions lately, kind of concerning
Who would leave their job because of a documentary?
Ahahaha it’s obviously not to do with a fly on the wall documentary, grow up kids 😂😂😂
For THE LAST BLOODY TIME ZIDANE CANT SPEEK ENGLISH JESUS CHROST

How do these put up with Lewis he’s absolutely delusional and lacks any ball knowledge at all
First
I’m watching this with headphones in on the commute home. When he said the West Brom manager I was in tears. Couldn’t stop laughing
Weird one but can see Simeone joining them
Bad shout, no chance
I could never imagine that
We are doing a fly on the wall doc to document him leaving, him leaving is the only reason it’s happening. Common garret L
Tom opened the show with what he claimed as a W First manager in and he’s got the fattest L of all time The WBA manager do us a favour mate 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Can’t even lace Marescas boots let alone Klopp!
He got a Huddersfield team to the playoff final where if VAR had worked could have got promoted
@@josephmichnik the qualifies him for the Liverpool job then 🤣🤣🤣
God Theo is so annoying. Why is he there 😡😡
liverpool cant compete financially? Didnt they just spend 70m on Szoboslai 85m on Nunez.. was prepared to pay over 100m for Caicedo but he chose chelsea
Their business model differs from others. Simply stating transfers without context is lazy.
@@Surveillance-Ysnothing different about paying that much for players.
@@johno9939 😂 you don't know sheet.. Liverpool have to sell to buy. In the summer they lost their whole midfield and with that money they used to buy players like Szoboszlai. Nunez was £60mill but has ad ons depending on achievements. Caicedo chose Chelsea for the 8yr contract but you bringing it up is lazy. Liverpool also have a strict wage structure in place which further hinders their transfer business.
@@Surveillance-Ys they are add on that will be paid so irrelevant. They got fuck all for there midfield compared to what they spent ya muppet 🤣 got about 30m in (Fabinho) and spent over 150 🤣 on szob macallister gravenverch and Endo. As well as being prepared to spend over 100 on Caicedo. So hard done by bless them.
@@johno9939 what you can't read now 😂..I said sell to buy numpty. Also players coming in are on less money than those who were sold. You really are thick. Add ons are not always paid because they're based on variables... duh! So, shall we take into account what teams could have spent but didn't 😂. The fact is Liverpool haven't paid billions just for a league cup like united, haven't financially doped their way to success like city, haven't mispent like Chelsea and looked worse and are not on ffp watchlist like arsenal. So you can try misconstrue a narrative in desperate need for validation but you sound pathetic doing it.
frank is awful
Lewis you really need to realise you are NOT a massive club. Howe could go Liverpool if he had the chance. Your 'project' is failing this year so if one of the biggest clubs in the world (top 5) come knocking with champs league football, better players, more money, he would go. And you would cry to sleep.
I Disagree I don't think Howe would leave for Liverpool. To say the "project is failing" is ridiculous. We knew we overperformed last season and knew we couldn't cope with all the competition's. A drop off was expected, we don't have the team for it. As seen by all the injuries we dealt with
@@RSS102 personally i couldnt see it either. But theres been many times in past where a bigger club comes knocking and people cant resist. Was part of the project to not get any europe this year...? Very likely they wont.
This year is slow but the ceiling is higher at Newcastle
@@joshswainwright well yes, Liverpool are a TOP team, Newcastle are mid. But will newcastle improve that much next year? Hands are a little tied with FFP, nobody will sell for big money. And lewis says they stick to a strict wage structure so who are they realistically going to attract to compete with top 4...?
Carlos Corboran is definitely not attacking. Very structured and doesn’t give his attackers much freedom
