  • I have the best friends 🙏 Guys! if you want an in depth look at my passing and much more details on passing in my style, check out my BJJ Fanatics instructional "Advanced and Effective Guard Passing" as well as "Loose Passing" they both cover a lot of what i am describing in this video!

  • I am a similar build and this is my entire top game. In a seminar like a decade ago Robert Drysdale taught me how to drive forward on my toes to give grinding pressure in top side control. Ever since that moment I started applying the same body weight mechanics into my entire top game philosophy. These are incredible fine details I'll be focusing on for my next session.

  • Great stuff. Ethan - what strength building exercises that have provided the most gains in your opinion would you recommend? Most of my time is dedicated to BJJ and on off days I typically follow the ATG style protocols for mobility and injury prevention/PT. I'm sure I'm leaving a lot on the table when it comes to actual strength building.

Dmt once told me that jiujitsu is a skeleton-game. And nothing could be further from truth. Aum & oss

    • This is the equivalent of "Simpsons did it!". When you have 50-60hrs of instructionals, people are bound to do the same shit. Also, Gordon's ideas aren't exactly original themselves. What really should be credited to New Wave instructionals is their methodology, a.k.a. Danaher style autism. Also, Ethan (and obviously much of Bteam) trained with them. Soooooo yeah, his technique has those elements. Go figure.
