  • I’m a certified music teacher and xylophone has definitely become an umbrella term for this type of instrument even though there are several categories based on shape and materials.

  • I will forever have beef with glockenspiels b/c one fell from it’s(admittedly janky) stand, and broke my foot in multiple places when I was in my senior year of high school. It was during the winter concert no less🫠. ‘Twas a hefty boy too, so pretending it didn’t hurt me and finishing the concert was a struggle😅.
