Great work man ,definitely would like to know more
Thank you mate! What more would you like to know?
Dang, that would haul :D
Sure does!
I have all the bolt ons on my Nissan Navara 2022 model Made 140kw at the wheels but coz it’s twin turbo and the way they work no options available for them what can I do ? Turbo wise ?
I got my 4jj1 remapped and a 3 inch pipe fitted. Making 200 and is absolutely fantastic towing. I've looked at a full build for fun but yeah bit hard to justify when it costs as much as the car :) One day maybe tho
They go really well with just a basic remap that’s for sure!
how much would this engine setup cost
Hi just a few question. Is the stock turbo of 4jj3 is f44 already? I remapped already mine, the psi is 22.5 set by the tuner. Is it safe? What is the safest and the maximum psi of the stock turbo? Cheers!.👌🏽
my 2018 dmax needs a new turbo.. if i fit a gated turbo, can you delete the vacuum control boost actuator and make the gated turbo work ?
Absolutely can mate! The 2018 model is similar to these and will require an adapter flit and exhaust modification like in this video but very worth while doing 👌
Hey you mentioned you work in Rocklea but what is your business name? How do I contact you?
Hey mate, HD Automotive in Rocklea!
Hello just wanna ask what size of exhaust is better for my mux 4jj3 engine. Planning to run stock just the full exhaust and tune. Is 3” better or just the 2.5”
Hi mate 3” is better Give HD Automotive a call and we can help you with that
how long does it usually take to do a custom tune
Just a day!
Are you concerned at all about it being illegal to delete dpf?
We didn’t delete it mate that’s up to the owner
can delete via ECU
Can you use a 4jj1 exhaust manifold on a 4jj3
I’m actually not to sure, I don’t think so!
Yes you can. I had 4J Garage tell me you can.
Double the grunt surely it will reduce reliability ? (Not having a go at your work) Are they pretty strong internally from the factory ?
Have a proper look at what they are doing with the 4j in Thailand and you'll understand
@@danielthornton3277doesn’t prove long term reliability. You can work the crap out of any motor. How long it lasts for after that work is done compared to factory is what I’m asking. Do we have them with 300 thou on them, have they done heavy loaded towing and still proving them selves. I know I can throw a blower on my Y62 and not have any engine problems up to at least 150k due to others that have been done, but I do know the transmission will shit itself due to the extra power, this has been shown on ones that have a blower, then it’s a 15k plus rebuild for heavy duty clutches etc
@Stevegrande1 kind of like wondering the longevity of a v8 supercar...more performance will usually affect longevity and reliability, especially when asking double the standard figures
@@Stevegrande1 cant speak for the newer ones but i have 4 of the older style ones with the 4jj1 and the truck gearbox with the pull type clutch and my highest hp one is around the 300 mark has 485k kms on it besides the obvious bolts on for power the only modification done to it is some bigger maincaps that are dowelpined into the block and its been pushing factory LS3 hp numbers for 150k kms now
@@Stevegrande1stupid comment. They’re a new motor. Good luck finding one with 300,000km’s. And if you’re paying 15k for a gearbox rebuild keep the y62
use 2 rotor high pressure fuel injection pump + external pump....
Can a 4jj3 stock internals handle 500hp because a stock 4jj1 internals can handle 500hp?
Stock 4JJ1 or 4JJ3 internals can’t handle 500hp mate
@@hd_hayden that’s weird cause i read it on google tho that stock 4jj1 internals can handle 500hp
@@rvnuxmint9876parts of them can, but not all of it can. The pistons can, the rods kind of can, the crank can’t, the head can. It’s a mix and match of can’s and cant’s
@@hd_hayden ok thanks for the information mate
How much to ship to US?
Which parts are you looking for in particular?
@@hd_hayden it was more to the tune of the old KZhead joke comment "Come to Brazil." We didn't get the 4J in wholesale numbers. Matter of fact, we got the worst diesel imaginable in our Utes, the VM 428. I'm quite chapped by it, really.
Hi is this safe in terms of reliability and can Isuzu pick it up when servicing
We’ve had no issues with reliability so far! And absolutely they can
I think I would rather have a 1gr hilux powerful reliable stock
Nothing huge power wise here. Why not do the lift pump and run proper power? Should be good for 400 considering you’ve upgraded everything else. *Ooh you’re on 33’s. I suppose that’s reasonable then. How many km’s on the factory injectors for 2 to be on the way out? Are they a shitty design?
