He is a false teacher that relies on his own opinions and new age ideology. Please be discerning and read your bible. He basically just glorified “turning away” from God, which is the opposite message of the gospel.

The message was that there was something that the son felt he was missing and that was his PURPOSE. The father gave him things (gifts) but he needed to have something to do, that would hinge him to the right way. He needed to know the purpose of his existing, the purpose of his life, so that he would never take his gifts and squander it away on worldliness (riotous living).

    • Talia Mann if you walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit, then you walk in truth- do not be deceived. The prodigal son is about grace and forgiveness as a reaction to sin. The father represents our father in heaven who provides ALL things to his children- including a purpose. To imply anything other than that goes against the scriptures.   • If I had heard this teaching in 2011 when my employer unjustly fired me, I would have known to seek the Lord about what else He wanted me to do, instead of praying for Him to give me my job back. Eleven years later He still blessed me in spite of what I should have prayed. I may miss Him at times because of my own unbelief, but He sees me. Praise God for His loving kindness 🙏🏽.

My head has me up all night crying , living in fear, struggling to let go of the pain of my past. My heart gives me rest, confirmations, forgiveness, faith.   • Although God gives us the gift of choice, it was the prodigal son’s hearts desire, that got him in trouble. Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it but not in the form of what’s in God’s heart. The Bible says do not follow your heart because if it flows nothing but vain and godless things, you’re in trouble. The son knew that he had right to it and could get it but it was his desire to distance himself from his father, that even with all those things, he still didn’t know his purpose. In leaving, he realized he didn’t need his things, he needed his fathers love. The guy ended up eating with the pigs, that’s what you do when you live away from the Father.
