    • The key is that realism can work if the reaction is also realistic. The fact Mr. M over there gets away with shooting a main character, and nobody else goes into a rampaging fury like a Pathfinder Barbarian, tells me it is not realistic. Plus at the funeral scene, Ghost still has his mask on. The people making this could not even be bothered to make a scene where Ghost does not have his mask. That is not realistic in the slightest.

Would've gone much better if one of Makarovs guys on the plane waited and made sure he made video evidence that included audio of someone shooting civvies from behind the curtains instead of just relying on half asked phone recordings and Blackbox stuff as well as farahs friend coming out gun blazing after getting drugged with something that makes her go on a hyper aggressive murder spree.

It basically told Activision people would prefer the same thing every year at lower quality/effort over an actually new game with a good campaign that feels like some heart was put into it.
