Honestly, i think he is one of the best characters because of how sparingly he is used. The creators knew how dope he was and wanted to keep us craving more of him. I like his usage in series but i wouldve been down for a minato movie.

This AMV single handedly re-motivated me to get invested into the series again after dropping off at the start of the fourth war so many years ago. Just seeing the raw emotion in the first like minute and a half was enough for me to remember why this series meant so much to me in the first place. He did figure out that Obito had to materialize to be able to hit him so the best window to strike was either right before Obito would land an attack or right after he failed to land one.
