I bought an R1 pro max, thanks to your previous review of the mouse. If I knew the SE version isn't that far off in quality, I might've gotten that instead. Although I love the pink colorway, so maybe not. But now I have a great gift idea for anyone who perhaps don't understand the point of having a good quality mouse. Thanks!
from what i've read beken is closely related to compx, so the mcu on the r1/se is probably an upgraded/modified version of the good ol' compx cx52850 to enable 2khz polling

@@weniizz i got no problems with SE+ and i don't think anyone got issues with the sensor either. I've never tire the regular R1

Ordered my pro max about 2-3 weeks ago with the 1K polling only. Do not need that 4K. Hoping it will be able to hold around 2 weeks without charging.
my record was 19 days . . but it also depends on how many hours a day you are on and if you enable sleep after 30s
its been one month and I havent charged my orange pro max lol, I only use it like 4-5 hours a day cuz of work

i have not heard of this but i don't think this is uncommon, i'm sure a small % of mice will have bad switches that will fail.

I am only able to find the vxe r1 SE+ at 27 USD. Another note, do you feel any inprovement in your WOT gameplay switching to this mouse? I have a g502 Hero atm that is 5 years old, so looking to change mouse. Also have a MX master 3, but that isn't for gaming

Can you play 4K polling when wired ?
No because you connect to the 4K dongle only wirelessly. when you are wired you connect to the PC directly and only maximum 1K is allowed
@@DatBoyGuru I heard that 1k though is more than enough and playing 4k is a bit of a scam except for draining the battery even more
@@francisplourde2277 there is scientific evidence that 4K does poll 3X more than a 1K mouse but we can hardly see it with our own eyes. To even be slightly noticeable improvement you need at least a 360Hz monitor and maybe a powerful GPU. you can watch videos on this by @optimumtech

@@DatBoyGuru which switches are on the r1 se+? because i have the se+ and coming from the logitech g305 these switches felt so stiff and heavy compared to the g305. With the g305 i could i spam way easier and played better but the shape of the r1 is so much better so im in a predicament., is the pro version better in terms of clicks in your opinion?
@@Ash-of1yl i had very low expectations of the SE+ because of my previous experience of the SE. However I think they changed up the switches on the SE+ because they're pretty nice, i can't say there's much difference compared to the yellow pro max

Pro is the better version, pro max is you want a different color than black or white. Just to let you guys know
