  • Female’s don’t stay and guard fry? I caught one guarding fry this year on a 6” senko that went 7lbs 11oz, I just assumed it was a female because it was so big.

    • I’ve never personally seen a female guard fry that I know if, but one thing I know is that we as anglers think we know something for sure but turns out to not be the case, so it wouldn’t surprise me to hear that you caught a female fry guarder.

    • @@SonarFishing i think its really about where you live what temperatures are and how many different species are in the lake. I’ve caught both but i think females guard fry for a very short period of time then move deep. Just my thoughts
