Without totally removing the trees, shrubs, plants is not a sane idea. Trees will rot and t will cause havoc i.e. major settlement. Did your Architects and Engineers approved the method of not removing the trees? Not good. . . Also, that is the wrong dirt, soil, to use. It looks like more puff dirt (Arizona and Nevada desert)
Yes it will settle about 3' , guess that's job security , I don't get it .
I have yet to see any of these projects implement proper compaction. It's going to settle like crazy. 👍
