  • I used to have a persian cat, and I had once put an ice cube in front of her to see if she would eat it. She did, and made me regret the fact I gave her ice in the first place since after that, she wouldn't drink milk in the summers if it didn't have ice cubes in it / wasn't cold. She went missing a few years back, and I miss her.

  • 5:00 for anyone wondering, please do not do this regularly. While dogs prefer meat, they are omnivorous, meaning a lot of dog food brands have cereal grains and other plant matter. Cats on the other hand are obligate carnivores, meaning they have trouble processing plant matter. Consuming some plants is actually healthy for cats; however, as obligate carnivores, their diet should not have the same amount of cereal grains as you would find in many dog foods. TLDR: cats can eat plant based foods, but dog food does not have the protein content to support a cats diet, and they will likely end up developing digestive issues

    • Also, for anyone who calls me out on it, what they are doing in this video is fine. Wet dog food tends to have more protein and they are not forcing the cats to consume an all dog food diet. I just wanted to point out that cats are obligate carnivores, and that they need protein for a proper diet
