That guy was smiling all the way home with that fish 💯💯💯💯👍🏾
Great 🐈-fishing!! Wore me out!🙂
That was sweet of you to give that guy a fish. He was so happy. You best be careful on those rocks. 😮 Daniel and Houston would have loved to catch catfish like that. Lol Keep up the great videos!
Who gives a Dam? I DO! Great fishing man!
Those Cats are full of shad, cool water and oxygen..so it's full tilt boogie !! Go Cole !!!
Spillway Catfish videos are my favorite
Awesome catching big big catfish ❤
Big Hi to Jay and the kids. Nice fish just keep at it.
Wow Cole way to go giving fish away to strangers love this ❤ always helping out much love from Tennessee
Wish to join fishing with you haha 😅😅
The best workout a man can have, You are a great fisherman.
You were catching some monsters 🎣. It is fun to watch
Now those were some nice blues and really nice of u to give that guy that one blue thanks for another awesome video brother
Oh man! Letting some good eating go back to the water! Fun to watch though! Nice of you to give that cat away.
A 6"x6"x.25" piece of delrin added to your fishing kit takes up little space but sure saves knife sharpening when cutting bait. Rocks and bait knives really don't go well together.
Yeah, I may need to start packing one!
Funny story. Before my grandfather passed, we went fishing at Lake Livingston. This lake has a dam that looks like where you are. Long story short, he was fishing on the bottom while I decided to top water, I know catfish normally stay on bottom. Well this will surprise, I caught the biggest cat I ever had. 15 lbs of pure goodness. I forgot to measure him. My grandfather said if you catch another one like that I'm going top water. 😂 it was not snagged. We had a lot of fun. Unfortunately that was the last time we went fishing together, but what a memory. BTW I did catch onother one but not very big. All total we caught 15 cats that day. 8hrs.
That’s awesome! These catfish at this spot will actually hit top water lures too when they start pushing shad to the surface! I hope to catch that on camera one day!
If you fish with a weighted cork you can catch cat fish below Livingston dam or any other dam with a 1'to 6' lead . Catfish feed shad sometime so if they are chasing shad they're going to bite regardless of depth
Huge big blue cats. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family and friends...🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Now that’s an afternoon of fun
It sure was! Thanks for watching!!
Good catch Skin 💯
Great job Cole! Love all your videos!!
Nice kitty cats, great fishing, thanks Cole for a great video, hug the kids and J too..
Good fishing..take care ❤
A great video Cole. I love catching catfish in spillways, you picked a very hard place to land your fish. God bless you guys
I used to run on the rocks like that! 68 years old and have been mean to my feet and knees and can't do that anymore!!! LOL Great day catching!!!! Those were very nice Blues! Thanks for another great video.
Awesome fishing buddy.
Cole nice to see you fishing for some lunkers this is the first time I've seen a video like this so it must have been awhile since the last time. Gonna have to check out some of your older videos. Thanks for the entertainment bud😊
Haven’t fished for these catfish like this since last summer but we have several videos doing it!
@@COLE_and_JAY Cool I've seen the Limb Lines that was awesome as well. Hope everything is going well and everyone is happy and healthy. Take care!
I remember fishing for catfish in the Mississippi River in New Orleans. we used spark plugs for weight. Saved a lot of money.
Cole, I had to grit my teeth watching you cutt up that shad on the concrete and not using a cutting board. But, I can't say too much. I've done it myself. Lol 😅😅😅
I’m glad you give that catfish you be blessed
Always happy to share!
Great show,,,,,love catfishing
would love to see you one day actually catch shark there.
a really nice show !!!Thank you
Great fishing Cole!
You have really been working hard on videos. I loved seeing Jay in your last video having fun. Great job.
Thank you! Been trying to stay after them!!
Really enjoy catfishing those dams. Me and my dad used to fish them all the time. Really enjoyed this video. Nice fish
Hi Cole. Nice catfish. Lots of action and fun. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Hey! Thanks so much. Those fish wore me out lol
What a great day of catfishing!!! Excellent job!!! "Speaking" of fishing "The Big Ditch--- the Cape Cod Canal" someday, as you have expressed in the past... and again saying that you need a different set-up for catfishing that particular spillway... The fishing conditions of both of those two spots are quite similar. Rocky shore, although the Canal's rocks are EXTREMELY slippery due to wet seaweed... very fast and strong current.... rocky bottom... BIG STRONG Fish (Stripers, bluefish, bonito, etc.) Here's a suggestion / thought for you. Give the folks at Red Top Sporting Goods, Buzzards Bay, MA... Or Canal Bait & Tackle, Bourn, MA, a jingle.Tell them about your spillway fishing and what you are catching... and ask if they might recommend a good "Canal Stick"... which I believe could / would serve both purposes well. Many of the Canal Sticks are in the 11' range, though I have seen them as long as 14'!!! Also, many of the "old timers" prefer a conventional type, over spinning, reel. And many many, including myself, will acquire a top notch rod blank, and tie up their own "sticks." That way you not only get exactly what you want, but you have the lifetime of pride knowing that you did it for yourself!!!! Like what you experience when eating from your own gardens. Anyways... just a thought for you to ponder... Oh!!! If / when you ever do make it up to the Canal... a couple of those big time catfishing excursions might be exactly what you need to get you "tuned up" for a Canal Blitz!!!! Enjoy!!!
I was hoping to see my son with you he said you took a pic with him thanks for letting him have a pic. We watch yall all the time.
I think this video is from a different day. Enjoyed meeting him out there!
Excellent catches there Cole! You da man❤❤
Thank you!!!! They beat me up lol
My first time watching one of your videos. Nice content and really enjoyed watching👍👍 great job!
Awesome! So glad to hear you enjoyed it. We post around 3x a week!
This was a very good day of fishing ...!!!!
It was awesome!!
@@COLE_and_JAY I've caught Catfish in the past but they weren't quite that big...20 lbs. Wow...
We are all looking for a video of Jay fishing by herself ??
Bro that big game line is freaking amazing. Thats all i use. 40 50 and 60#
Congratulations Cole
Im surprised you haven't hooked at least one 50+lb cat at that spillway cause that looks like a prime place for giant cats
Check yourself scale on your next bag of dog food ! 👍
nice give away , you just fed that guys family kudos
I’ll always give fish away to Anyone who wants them!
@@COLE_and_JAY me also
Great fishing video
You make that look very easy!😂
It’s decently easy to get them to bite, the hard part is winching them in lol
Yeah I bet🤣
@@COLE_and_JAYI
Get you a 12 ft meat hunter 1 peice rod and you can horse them in a little better they are made in alma arkansas and you can actually buy the rod blanks and make the rod you want, thanks for the awesome content keep it up
Nice time, you sent that guy home happy 👍
It was a great fishing afternoon!
Dang! That looks like a workout. 😂 Awesome content!
It hurts sooooo good! 😂
Nice blues!
The fish grips are great when you catch a pike or a muskie. a 36inch tiger muskie is not near a daunting to hold up with a set of those in its mouth.
I have the same fish grippers, saves my hands especially when using lures with swinging treble hooks!
That is a crazy spillway all Nerf rebate you can ask for right at your feet!
Great fish
Nice monsters !!
Thank you!!!
I’m glad you are catching a few fish just wish you would give more away . Lots of guys don’t know what you know about catching catfish
Nice catfish that’s a biggin
GREAT VIDEO 🔥 Me and my bro on the come up
Beautiful cats
I caught a 13lb blue and Ijust knew that thing weighed 25lbs 🤣🤣🤣
Go for it Cole
These fish are trying to take me with them lol
What do you think Jay's going to say lol 😂 thanks 👍 Cole
Try 80pd braid 50 mono 3way swevel 5 -4 once weight . Case smooth brings any catfish in.
GOOD FISHING EVER CAT WAS OVER TEN POUNDS IT WAS LIKE FISHING FOR FISH IN BATHTUB GOOD TIME
There is one spot on the Red River in Manitoba when I was younger I didn't realize that I was catching Master Anglers. If you want to catch 4 ft blue cats go there but I would have to show you the spot😮. It's do fish tail it's for real😮
May I ask what dam are you fishing at? Great catfishing video. I love catching them and eating them.
That was definitely another good day out fishing for sure!!! If I remember correctly or if you didn’t edit any none catches you caught like 6 or 7 in a row with back to back casts out!! I definitely haven’t had hook ups like that for catfish for years now!!! But when it does happen it is definitely very fun and very tiring very quickly and especially if they are all big ones also!!! I definitely don’t think that you caught one over 20lbs but that one at just over 19lbs was definitely very close!!! Still all amazing fish for sure!!! I bet if you wouldn’t have caught them shad that you was using for bait that was also swimming around there that they wouldn’t have bitten like they did for you also!!! They just thought that they was the same fish that had been swimming around and that has to be what they was feeding on!!! Awesome video buddy!!!
Cole, try a surf rod. Built for heavy fish in heavy current. Best of luck.
This is a surf rod lol
Water outlet, carp time!
Gotta love some bumping. The best way to catch cats in my opinion because you can feel them thump it. Next time instead of cutting those shad up, just snip their tail. You’ll get one of thoes 40+s in no time.
I need to go fishing down there sometime I can't wait. The best bait for dam 3 Is worms or a rattle trap size 1/8 oz. Hopefully to help you out for the next time you go.
Gonna hopefully be heading up that way some time soon!
@@COLE_and_JAY OK Maybe we could meet up and Do a Collab That would be epic.
I've told you before Cole, you don't carry a rabbit gun when you hunt in lion country! What if you HAD hooked that MONSTER kitty cat?😊 You need a new rig AND scale! There was a LOT of catfish po boy released in this video. Missed Slab Queen but understand other duties take precedent.
You don't have to catch a 20 pounder for me too hit the like! I like all you guys videos and have learned a thing or two
Here kitty, kitty 😺!!!
Mono stretches good bet your knot stretched and broke your line. I use fluro to prevent that. Tight lines.
Damn those were big cats. Now I be hungry.
Hello my friend's watching from Columbus Ohio
Thank you so much!!!! Hope you are having a good day!
I'm surprised you and Jay haven't hook up with Jeff & Hannah Barron to go noodling
Good afternoon, Cole.
Good afternoon!!!
Up to about 50#s there’s not a huge difference between blue catfish and channel catfish except for the lips and teeth. Blue Catfish can reach well over 100 lbs. in large rivers and reservoirs.
Love it
Thank you!!!
I can’t believe, I’m watching other people catch fish. It has been so long since I’ve been fishing. I’ve only been out there half a dozen times this year and it’s killing me.
Cole, it breaks my heart to see you cut those shad on a rock. I bought a nylon cutting board at a thrift store and cut to fit in my catfish box. ( I have five boxes. One for each type of fish that I intend to go for) . It works out great, and several anglers have been using my idea. On my double-sided box, I use a couple of bungee cords to keep it in place. I'm pretty "anal" about my gear and refuse to buy cheap, throw-away tools. I buy it to last. Beautiful spot, beautiful fish. It could only be better if Jay were there.
Your spillway a lot bigger than mine. I wanna go there
Come on while the gettin is good!
@@COLE_and_JAY Where is this damn? I'm doing to catch some blues.
i love to fish i live in FL catch an cook if there good to eat if iam not going to eat them let them go to get bigger
Dam 2 on the Arkansas, at one time a premier fishing spot! Carp have it over run now but still good.
I hate those carp haha
Love watching your videos, where was this one made at
What dam were you fishing at
Ande is my favorite for leaders
Where is Jay ?? Shows are Best with her.. she ALWAYS out fishes you because of her KARMA... LOL 🤣🤣
Question for you Cole , I fish in an area with a lot of bottom debris , trees and such , for Catfish by the way , the rig you used is it better to prevent catching bottom stuff like limbs? Thank you
The rig he is using really ain’t meant for bottom fishing in one spot. It’s a bumping rig. If you have current this rig would work but the weight will depend VASTLY on the amount of current. If you fishing on bottom I suggest a santee cooper rig but even then you will still get snagged. If you don’t have any current use a large slip float. It’s a game of give and take, the closer you are to the snags the better the fishing will be, but also the more likely you are going to snag up. Look up how to bump for catfish if you want to learn how to use the rig he is using.
@@fishingharry5285 thanks you for the advise it makes sense what your saying.
Nice
Hey i love your videos I actually live in the area you are fishing in this video I would love to take you out on the boat and do some jug fishing
Heck yeah! Running jugs is fun!
Power landing
Had to go down to my fighting rock lol
Nice video LOL I have just the rod you need 30+ years ago I went salmon snagging for a few years I bought a 8 foot 1 piece spinning rod , the tip of the rod was 1/2" acrost No finesse , just a 8/0 treble hook above a 3 -4 oz sinker on 60 lb line I found better ways of catching salmon
I did that before though I was hung up on a log turned out to be a 20lb catfish
Here let's goooooo
Yesssirr!!!! 🤟
Technically you go on your own risk every time you go fishing, either way anything/everything is dangerous 😅
