As someone who’s been in theatre before, I can confirm that backstage quick changes like that can be pretty frickin hectic. So if I ever was on stage for a small scene and wasn’t on till a long while, I would help out my peeps into their quick change costumes. And without even wanting it I got two awards, one for best onstage performance, and another for best backstage performance.
Yup. I remember helping the lead with a quick change before the last scene in Footloose. It had to look even funnier cause the dude was well over 6 feet and I'm all of 4'9" but we made it work. He was never late for his cue lol

Hey there, fellow theatre person! I was also backstage recently. While the clothing changes often weren’t that hard, it was certainly a rush. We had a schedule backstage, and whenever an actor would come back backstage in order for a change, there would be at least three backstage crew following them in order to make sure there weren’t any stuck clothing.
Yeah, when I was in ballet the lead and some parts had very quick costume changes. For one performance I was lucky in that mine and most of my class didn't have any costume changes except one who played a spider (it was an interesting retelling of Cinderella...) so half of my class (and my mom) was tasked with helping the lead with her costume changes and the rest helped my classmate with her back and forth changes. Let me tell you, the spider costume looked simple but it was *not.* XD
2:20 It's not the echo. It's simply humidity accumulated on the ceiling, basically drops of water staying there. The ceiling and all the surrounding is the rubber fabric usually used in pools or some times on Tennis field in winter :) So what you see are drops of water "dropping" as the guy shakes the while thing. :D

For as long as i can remember, this is the 1st daily dose video I've watched that doesn't start with the thumbnail. Its been so consistent that its literally tradition at this point.
To confirm, the man hitting the wall of the swimming pool made vibrations reaching the ceiling causing the condensation clinging to the ceiling to fall. Also, the peanut butter spinning, is due to oil leaking and acting as a lubricant between the shelf and bottom of the jar with static electricity causing rotation, likely aided by the temperature difference between the plastic and glass jar. The rotating jar has happened to me, and did a little test to confirm.

The USAF also wanted to use cats as guidance mechanisms for guided bombs. Program never went anywhere. That's absolutely incorrect. Destin from SmarterEveryDay explained how cats rotate while falling, and their tail is not the reason.
Not true weightlessness. Most of those experiments are done inside a aircraft at a steep dive. You are still falling and under the effects of gravity, the plane you are in just happens to be falling at around the same rate shielding you from any wind resistance. A spinning bicycle tire is a gyroscope.

I live in an area that gets a lot of snow, and almost every mailbox on the back roads have swing-away arms so that when the snowplow comes by and they inevitably hit the mail box, it just swings back off of the road. The only issue with these is the don't automatically swing back for the mail person (me) to actually put the mail in haha. But at least the mailbox isn't completely ruined, it just has maybe a dent in it.
The last one with the pool is actually because of the condensation that formed on the roof, when he hit the wall, the vibrations shook the water droplets loose and they fell on to the pool, and if you look closely you can see they don't go all the way around the pool because the rest already slid down the curved walls! Pretty cool if you ask me

@@crethan219 my theory was acuostics. The solid thunp on the wall acting like a big drum, which hit the other wall and recocheted back, ramping up to a frequency that does that to the water. You dont see any drops from the ceiling, and with the amount of water moving around, it really should be a visible difference by looking towards the background.

On the ashes video, had a similar thing when we spread my fathers ashes at sea. Nice service, engine was idling to keep the back cockpit area with a little less wind, but no one thought to check the direction of the wind. We spread the ashes, got a tremendous blowback and everyone was spitting ashes.
