    • On the other hand some of the horses seem to like the attention. They even turn their heads towards the people in a curious manner with a relaxed posture. The biggest problem is most people don’t know how to read each other, let alone a horse. They are so caught up in their own world[s] they don’t watch to see if the horse is approachable or ask if it’s ok. The family in the beginning of this video were one of the few I’ve noticed asking before hand.

He could possibly not be a citizen or he could be, but I don't see anywhere that indicates that he may not be a citizen and if he is a citizen, where exactly should he be deported to? I think that you have made an assumption based on how he looks and automatically assuming that he is not a citizen, which if you did, is deplorable. It's ok to not be sure, but it is never ok to automatically assume based on how someone looks, that he is not a citizen of said country. I smell a bit of bias on your end and it stinks really bad!

He's showing these folks where to pet the horse, and what not to touch! *~~~* Whatever that moron did, that upset the horse, he did it at the exact time that there were little children standing right next to the horse for a picture, which probably got the guard even more upset, as the horse could have inadvertently trampled a child! Then you see the tough guy scamper off really fast, 🏃 but not fast enough!! 5:57 - I love how this guard gave the horse a nice sturdy pat and reassures him! It’s polite and prudent to ask the guard first, but only once have I seen a guard say “no” when asked if his horse could be stroked, and that horse was acting very skittish at the time and had his ears back. Even I could see that getting close then would not have been a good idea. Anyone who is a UK taxpayer and doesn’t agree with allowing touching should contact their MP about changing the policy. Some people have suggested replacing the written signs with graphic signs similar to road signs. There would be no need to speak English then. I honestly don't know if they would work better, but something needs to be done to stop the horses being swamped by pawing tourists.

  • Definitely could not see the man do anything, but obviously from the horse and guards reaction it must have been something important enough for the policeman to go after him and have a stern talk. Do these type of idiots ever truly get arrested? If they were it might deter other idiots from touching the reins , etc.

  • Some people tend to forget that the King's Guard aren't mere tourist attractions, but actual soldiers of the British army on duty. If that alone isn't a deterrent, the presence of Westminster police fully decked out with Glock pistols and M4 carbines surely should be. On the other hand, some people nowadays know of no boundaries anymore... some have even stumbled into active volcanoes while trying to snap the ultimate selfie

  • For a start the officer should've ordered the man to pocket his phone! Like just get off the bloody phone! At 4:19 good on the gent to hand over the shoulder bag to the owner's companion...and look who's standing beside the horse...then he walks over and in less than a min he does whatever he does to upset the other horse and guard.
