It’s a project for the entire extended family. Sawyer is so focused on helping, I’m glad John is taking the time to let him get in there. It’s not easy being the youngest! About Joao: Such a nice young man, I hope his parents know what a great job they did. And though it is none of my business, I wonder how he is enjoying college. The chickens could almost have a channel of their own. It was a belly-laugh moment for me when they came on screen walking on the new wall. Fabulous editing. Have a joyous week!

I just love your homestead video every week, especially the time-lapse going on while you work. It's amazing that the chickens are so tame and taking part in the renovations. Agree with Tara. I worry every time I watch John work with tools that he doesn't have eye and ear protection. It is very easy to get metal in the eyes, as my father many years ago found out.

Great job! You guys are so creative! I love the curve to the wall and how great Crusoe is doing-he’s really helping and with Sawyer watching and learning, he will catch up, even faster-I really love your videos Tara and John. Little idea here for the small garden area: look around the property to see if you have oldbits of things that may end up in a landfill or boxes, tree limbs, bottles or anything that you can safely put in that spot. It will make less dirt you will need to get and move to get your garden going!

👍👍👍 3 thumbs up for PPE especially safety glasses. You may see where the sparks are going but you are cutting metal and it only takes one filing in your eye to cause major damage. Ask your friend from the Indie Projects...he had something in his eye from working without safety glasses. Heck they only cost peanuts versus 2 weeks of your eye healing. You asked and you got Tara haha. Sorry John but she is 100% correct.

The best part was to see the Fifi leading the parade of chickens on the new wall. But on wet cement?? Joao is very strong for his age. I hope he is studying as well. Lot of hard work and great teamwork.
