    • The Christian God wants you to have a personal relationship with Him. Putting your faith in the hands of other men is warned against in the Bible.

  • I so enjoy these lectures. It's very hard to find lectures or talks about psychology or your brain and they totally discount our maker God the Father! We truly are fearfully and wonderfully made !! p.s. Is it true that if your tendons are switched that you're mind adjusts !??

  • God is the Source if wisdom and understanding... Only God fearing people contributed wonderful things to the world.. The devilish people are misusing it in large scale.. Prayer is a good thing to start everything for his glory.

    • You’re a modern day democrat huh? All of you so called ‘liberals’ are so closed minded and have such an self entitlement belief, that you don’t even realize how hypocritical and contradictory everything that you say you stand for. it is truly mind blowing. If I believe what you do, or what you’re choices with sexual orientation is, gender identification you want to be called or what color hair you want to have, you’ll go out of your way to make sure that everyone around you know that I am a racist bigot piece of ****. So in turn you’re life choices do not matter nor should they matter to me, because free life, free choice, correct? So take your own life advice and keep that shit to yourself. What goes on at this ‘religious college’ does before class, does not, and should not bother you so much that it makes you leave a derogatory snarky comment on it homeboy.

  • LOL... this is a lecture from a private Christian University so I'd think it would be most appropriate... it's important for them to include God in studies of anything scientific, I would presume.

  • Interesting that he starts out with a prayer, constantly says that God created human beings and also does not use the title "evolutionary psychology" to describe this science even though that's the real name of this scientific area. He ought to accept evolution fully and just go out and say "evolutionary psychology". All modern psychologists need to understand that our cognition has evolved over a really long time.

  • you get 50 dollars man, its 50% chance theres no 66% chance, read up before doing this lecture again -_- its not possible to have 66% chance of getting right you have 3 1/3 chance envelopes contestant has 1/3 chance of picking the envelope you have 2 1/3 envelopes left, destroying one leaves you with one 1/3 envelope leaving the contestant with the CHOICE of upping his chances from 1/3 to 1/2 there is no 2/3, there is no 66%

Swap=win Envelope 3. Professor reveals envelope 2. Swap=win If you swap, you have 2 out 3 chances to win, approx. 66.7%

  • By all means pray before the lecture as that is your given right, but to actually apply religious beliefs on the topic of Biological Psychology is quite simply idiotic. Bible quotes should not be involved in how psychologists (or any scientist for that matter) develop theories.

    @collinslfc@collinslfc9 жыл бұрын
    • ***** I agree with you, but at the same time I dont. You see being religious and developing psychological theories do not exclude one another. In fact it only proves that the person is intelligent. In my eyes he can consider the idea of religion ( the positive part of it), but not get consumed by religion and base his enitre thought process on it.
