The way she whip lashes between menace and flattery, manipulation ("Are you a cruel person?") trying every trick in her likely very long book to get inside. When she's gone, you can't help but wonder if she really left or if it's another tactic to get you to become curious and go outside, because the tapping is insistent all the way through.

  • 10:43 This part scares me so much, after revealing herself to be an immortal vampire, she just casually leans against the doorframe, you can see her looking around the room behind you, and up and down at you, she's still thinking of a way to get in ☹ Seems like she's done it a million times. The way she taps on the glass is like she's reminding you how thin it is, how close she actually is to you. I imagine the villagers are all deathly afraid of her, all they can do is remind each other to lock their doors at night. There are people who choose to portray vampires as high, cold, elegant, careful, watchful etc. This one is a different kind of vampire, brazen, animalistic, straight up climbs onto walls and hangs upside down to peer inside your house. Sometimes it doesn't have to be subtle to be terrifying. For me, people who barely try hiding their intentions, but fully expect you to do their bidding anyway, they are more terrifying. Out of all the halloween asmr videos this year, this has been my favourite. It genuinely scares me, and yet manipulation #8 is super tingly, so I keep returning to watch it again.

    • There's a concept introduced by Alfred Hitchcock, where suspense is seen but doesn't strike immediately. It's a suitcase bomb under a table where two characters you like are talking. You know it's there, they're vaguely aware but don't understand what it is, and the longer it sits there, the closer it is to detonation.

In the end, she mention that her Mistress is waiting for us: Does the Mistress knows about the treasure we're looking for? Did she know about the order? Why they refer Anna as "one of their kind"? Is this the part of their manipulation? So many question left and I found myself more and more hooked to the story! 😄

There's tons of vampire ASMR videos on KZhead but they all give Vampire Diaries energy (which is fine, but I wish there was more variety!) and this one gives me Van Helsing/Dracula/Castlevania to such an insanely accurate degree. Hypnotic, beautiful and also very dangerous. I was trying to figure out what it was about you in this that made it SO unsettling and I think it's the crazy huge red irises! The oversized contacts are a fantastic touch to the intense gaze. Yet somehow I'm also extremely relaxed. • This video inspired me to write this short story. I hope, you don't mind if I share it with all of you. * * * "A Midnight Woman" Anything special didn't want to visit my mind. After two poetic lines my brain decided to burn down like a paper. Something blew off my ideas, and I was about to blow the candle, but out of the blue a face appeared in the window. "I'm terribly sorry..." a voice distracted me from paper. I was expecting everything. A dog, passing by, a horserider, even a thief, but a woman, knocking in the glass window in the middle of the night, scared me to hell. I was not even married, so my communication with womens was short. Saying "Bonsoir", a little bow and kissing a small hand. My mother died years ago, sister was behind the ocean, and no one else to mention. "I'm a bit thirsty... Could you bring something to drink... for me?" she asked. "Excuse me" I answered in unstable voice, "B-but who are you? I don't think I can trust a woman, knocking in my window in the pure darkness..." I must tell you, I am not a cruel person. If someone needs help, I will try to help if it's possible for me, but better in the daylight, when the chances you can be killed are less than ninety per cent. A strange women continued to begging me to help her, to let her in, she even offered something and tried to hypnotise me. Dead act. I wasn't interested. The feeling of deep regret filled my soul. I shouldn't have messed with this strange women, with her long dark hair, with her bottomless eyes, her charming voice... Oh God, I must forget about that night. Endless tap-tap-tap in the window she did with her long nails was annoying, I thought I'll go crazy until morning. I tried to ignore her, to listen to the wind, to my own heartbeat, I closed my ears, but her voice sounded everywhere, in these wooden walls, in my own head, I couldn't hold on anymore. "Well, well, m'lady, listen. I'm tired, exhausted, I understand your situation, but please, leave this place, leave me alone. I have already told: I can't help you. I have no money, I have no idea where do you want to go, so please, stop bothering me. My conscience won't let me leave first, until you do it. I can't help you, I swear." My mind went a little dizzy. Was this women a witch or anything else (however, I don't believe in witches, vampires and any other fantasies), but after some time of communication my body refused to listen to me. She said something again, and again, but I felt like I've just woke up in fire. "Please. I don't feel good, what else do you want?" She continued to talk, but she didn't answer. "I'm leaving. Good luck, lady." I left to my bedroom to have some rest. I fell sleep in a few seconds, and in the morning many and many of memories and silhouettes flashed through my mind. I tried to shake them off. Unfortunately, the candle on my table was burning all night and almost melt down. The reflection of the midnight woman appeared in the window for a second and vanished, like a smoke. "However, she was not a thief and I am still alive... I hope... Mad night" I whispered to myself and blew off the candle.

  • Acting sO ON POINT!!! 😍 Manipulation #4 was especially chilling, that transition from looking pitiful, almost tearful, and terrified to stone cold almost-glare in the blink of an eye when the viewer didn’t fall for it. Wonderful! Also the way she came back after she “left” with the hand tapping, and then continued across the screen… soothing hand tapping sounds but SO CREEPY LMAO
