Louisiana Multi-Species Fishing | Catch N Cook

In this episode, I go fishing for tripletail, redfish, spadefish, trout and black drum in Louisiana with my good friend Captain Blake from Tripletail Charters and later we have a Catch N Cook at Cajun Fishing Adventures. We started the day fishing for sand trout and the bite was very good. After catching over a dozen trout, we moved to a different spot and found a few black drum and a redfish. The conditions were very tough with winds over 25mph. I managed to catch a huge spadefish, which we kept for the Catch N Cook. Shortly after, we headed back to Cajun Fishing Adventures to clean and cook all the fish caught. Ryan brought out an electric saw and knife and proceeded to filet every fish we caught. After filleting every fish, Ryan and I took the meat into the kitchen to cook. Ryan and I brought the fish fillets to the kitchen, and his chefs cooked them on the grill with oil and spices. We all took a bite of every fish, and the spadefish was the favorite! The Louisiana Catch N Cook was a huge success, I tried drum and spadefish for the first time, and we managed to catch fish despite the weather.

  • We go Spade fishing all the time. We bow up with black bass, triggers, etc. Spades spin in the water when you catch them, other fish will come up and watch the one being caught. Bring some CD's and hang em off the boat as "teasers"!! U can catch millions!!! We fish a old coca cola truck that's next to the bridge....

  • Another great video, Josh! All of those fish looked so good. I've rewound it twice to try and figure out how they cooked it. It was tossed in flour, grilled with olive oil and had worcestershire sauce squirted on one side.... I'm totally going to try that next time we have a white fish. I don't think we can get any of those here, but I'll keep my eye out for it! xoxox Heather🇨🇦
