3 grand for a good dog from a good breeder is not too bad. My standard poodle was 3 grand. He was my wife’s first dog. And it seems like between 100 bucks every six weeks for grooming and seems like every month she was taking him to the vet for some crap they tell you. My shepherds for the last 30 years doesn’t have a vet bill combined to match the poodle. Wife died two years ago. So I call the vet to get his yearly supply of flea and tick and the Lyme meds. They said we have to bring the dog in for an exam. I said he is exactly like he was last time he was there. No got to bring him in. I got meds elsewhere that’s how they got so much money out of my wife. Dogs been perfect and doesn’t need a monthly check up and he has this and then he needs this. Sad that a veterinarian would rather keep a healthy dog medicated to meet his financial goals. Unbelievable.

No, the bear was uncertain what to do. It has probably never encountered that situation before, doesn’t know what is causing the noise and can’t see into the dark house from the sunlit yard. They don’t know what glass is, of course, it just knows there isn’t any smell that goes with the noise.

He didn't seem to be intimated in the least and then dogs didn't really seem to want to engage. I'm thinking about a true story in Russia. A bear, looking for food came upon a Traylor in which he surprised 2 adult men , each with adult dogs. The authorities found 2 dead men with 2 dead dogs...all torn to pieces and partially devoured...and a Traylor totally destroyed. The bear had moved on apparently unhurt

Dogs should only be let loose if you intend on ending the bears life as quickly as possible if it became an immediate threat, with the consideration of vet bills for the inevitable damage done to the canines. Granted, the bear could go about and do harm elsewhere but I’d imagine there’s services that can be called in case to prevent that from happening? I don’t live near bear territory

It’s very very uncommon for black bears to attack and maul humans. Other types of bear like Grizzly, Brown and Polar bears are another story. In this instance, individually, the mastiffs each weigh about the same as this older cub. If the dogs mean business, this young bear wouldn’t have a chance if it couldn’t get away. Unless it’s a mama with cubs, full grown black bears would run from the dogs. They’re not going to risk an injury that could become life threatening. I’m not saying black bears aren’t very strong and are unable to kill a dog. I’m saying their nature is to avoid the fight.

It’s an adult came out of hibernation recently judging by its adult features and extremely low body fat. Young bears take longer to develop such muscle bulk but have high body fat. This one is very muscular but very low body fat percentage it’s reserves have been depleted.

3 grand for a good dog from a good breeder is not too bad. My standard poodle was 3 grand. He was my wife’s first dog. And it seems like between 100 bucks every six weeks for grooming and seems like every month she was taking him to the vet for some crap they tell you. My shepherds for the last 30 years doesn’t have a vet bill combined to match the poodle. Wife died two years ago. So I call the vet to get his yearly supply of flea and tick and the Lyme meds. They said we have to bring the dog in for an exam. I said he is exactly like he was last time he was there. No got to bring him in. I got meds elsewhere that’s how they got so much money out of my wife. Dogs been perfect and doesn’t need a monthly check up and he has this and then he needs this. Sad that a veterinarian would rather keep a healthy dog medicated to meet his financial goals. Unbelievable.

No, the bear was uncertain what to do. It has probably never encountered that situation before, doesn’t know what is causing the noise and can’t see into the dark house from the sunlit yard. They don’t know what glass is, of course, it just knows there isn’t any smell that goes with the noise.

Dogs should only be let loose if you intend on ending the bears life as quickly as possible if it became an immediate threat, with the consideration of vet bills for the inevitable damage done to the canines. Granted, the bear could go about and do harm elsewhere but I’d imagine there’s services that can be called in case to prevent that from happening? I don’t live near bear territory

I highly doubt a cub of this size could take on 3 dogs of this size. Also, few black bears of any age would stand and fight when they can run away. I’ve seen them run from chihuahuas & cats. They’ll run from a person beating pots & pans together.

It’s very very uncommon for black bears to attack and maul humans. Other types of bear like Grizzly, Brown and Polar bears are another story. In this instance, individually, the mastiffs each weigh about the same as this older cub. If the dogs mean business, this young bear wouldn’t have a chance if it couldn’t get away. Unless it’s a mama with cubs, full grown black bears would run from the dogs. They’re not going to risk an injury that could become life threatening. I’m not saying black bears aren’t very strong and are unable to kill a dog. I’m saying their nature is to avoid the fight.

It’s an adult came out of hibernation recently judging by its adult features and extremely low body fat. Young bears take longer to develop such muscle bulk but have high body fat. This one is very muscular but very low body fat percentage it’s reserves have been depleted.
