You can become a 15 time amateur boxing champion when your parents are heading all the events. I'm sure a large number of those national championships were obtained due to politics.
You truly don't know boxing or the amateur system. Those officials don't know each other from different states and also a lot of officials are parents of the boxers or coaches. I know because I'm an official.
