Meu pai ouvia essa musica direto, infelizmente ele faleceu mas eu não lembrava o nome da música. Por anos ficou perdida apenas na minha cabeça achando que com o tempo iria esquecer, hoje finalmente achei ela e ouvi com minha mãe :)

I'm from Belgium. My parents used to listen this album a lot when I was a child. I'm 40 now and heard it again at a funeral after not hearing it since then. It took my breath away.

Ouvi essa esplêndida canção pela primeira vez no ano de 2001 quando tinha 10 anos. Foi quando estreou a Minissérie Os Maias. Em 2010 tive a imensa oportunidade de ser estudante de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, e assistir está minissérie em solo português foi de uma grande emoção. Saudades de Coimbra 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹 Uma brasileira apaixonada pela cultura portuguesa. #nostalgia

Quer o português do Brasil quer o português de Portugal são IGUALMENTE FASCINANTES!!! E por que não incluir também o português dos restantes irmãos lusófonos (leia-se: Angola, Moçambique, Timor-Leste, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe e Guiné-equatorial)?! As diversas e insignificantes variações na fonética são simples pormenores que tornam ainda mais rica a língua portuguesa. A língua portuguesa não é propriedade exclusiva de um só povo, mas sim de tantos quantos se sintam felizes em abraçá-la no seu universo comunicacional do quotidiano:) O "ufanismo" exagerado, narcisista e despropositado que porventura alguns compatriotas meus possam ostentar, infelizmente, acaba sempre por semear a desunião, a discórdia e o ressentimento entre os lusófonos dos quatro cantos da terra, pois não passa de expressão bacoca e serôdia de patriotismo supremacista e exclusivista. No entanto, tais compatriotas se esquecem que seus ancestrais da época áurea do expansionismo marítimo também são ANCESTRAIS de uma grande parte da população brasileira, já para não falar da origem indo-europeia das tribos indigenas brasileiras que migraram para o continente americano na era glacial através do estreito de bering. Portanto, nunca devemos perder de vista que estamos falando de duas nações IRMÃS, Portugal e Brasil. A determinada altura das suas vidas, meus trisavós paternos oriundos do nordeste transmontano foram viver o "sonho do Brasil" - um análogo do "american dream" no século XIX e princípio do século XX - tendo sido muito bem acolhidos pelo povo brasileiro. Foi no Brasil que os meus trisavós paternos se emanciparam no "elevador social" da sociedade brasileira - embora trabalhando em atividades humildes como o pequeno comércio de pão, convertendo-o num negócio lucrativo q.b. - coisa que jamais seria possível num contexto de pobreza endémica e crónica no Portugal do século XIX, por exemplo. Em suma, foi o Brasil que tirou a "fome de autorealização e progresso pessoal" aos meus trisavós. Mas não foram somente portugueses que se mudaram definitivamente para o Brasil, a fim de fugirem ao triste fado de uma pobreza remediada e persistente estagnação social; pois, na extensa lista de migrantes europeus que viajavam rumo ao Brasil, também figuravam italianos, espanhóis, franceses, holandeses, alemães, ingleses e libaneses, entre outros. E a verdade "verdadeira" (pleonasmo cheio de intencionalidade) é que tais europeus do mediterrâneo e norte da europa jamais se teriam mudado para o Brasil, caso suas expectativas de emancipação social e económica não fossem baseadas em perspectivas e probabilidades mais ou menos realistas, e por conseguinte, francamente superiores em comparação com aquelas que eram proporcionadas pelos diversos países europeus de origem. A insofismável realidade histórica dos séculos XVIII e XIX é categórica ao demonstrar cabalmente que muitíssimos europeus conseguiram "singrar" na vida ao emigrarem para o Brasil. Nos dias atuais, o Brasil tornou-se uma potência regional superpovoada e supercompetitiva (nota: pelo menos, no plano interno e no plano da américa do sul), e, por essa razão, as hodiernas classes pobres e menos qualificadas dos países europeus já não conseguem obter quaisquer benefícios tangíveis na emigração para o Brasil. Ainda assim, os laços de sempiterna fraternidade entre Portugal e Brasil, e vice-versa, jamais serão rompidos, independentemente da intensidade dos fluxos migratórios bilaterais e quaisquer outros fatores positivos ou negativos. Saudações fraternas de um português transmontano:) Um grande BEM-HAJA ao nobilíssimo povo brasileiro!!! Um grande abraço.

Chamo a atenção para o cenário onde foi gravado parte deste vídeo: o cromeleque dos Almendres, perto de Évora. Trata-se de uma das mais antigas (há quem diga a mais antiga) construção megalítica da Europa , com cerca de 7000 anos. Deve ser a construção mais antiga existente em Portugal e uma das mais antigas da Europa. Por exemplo, o famoso Stonehenge na Inglaterra tem apenas metade dessa idade....

Encantado com esta obra de arte!! Já havia escutado um pequeno trecho na missérie "Os Maias". Recentemente eu, que faço Letras/ Língua Portuguesa (sou brasileiro do Amazonas), estou cursando a matéria Literatura Portuguesa e consequentemente tenho também pesquisado por curiosidade e mergulhado na cultura lusitana, a fim de conhecer mais e me deparei com esta música maravilhosa, desta vez a ouvindo de verdade e estou completamente viciado, ouço todo dia!! Infelizmente ninguém ouve isto meu caro. As novas gerações só ouvem trap e o que agora chamam “funk” no Brasil e pouco mais. O folclore, a música típica e popular, o Fado, são basicamente estilos desconhecidos pelas novas gerações aqui em Portugal. Ι don't speek good english...sort...Mais je sais bien le français...Non "Madredeus"ne sont pas très connus mais ce morceau exactement c'est très connu.Il était posé dans une publicité pour un whisky...C'est pour ça que les "Madredeus" avaient un terrible succès en Grèce. D'autre part ils sont venus pour donner un concert à Athènes.

Ouvi essa esplêndida canção pela primeira vez no ano de 2001 quando tinha 10 anos. Foi quando estreou a Minissérie Os Maias. Em 2010 tive a imensa oportunidade de ser estudante de Letras da Universidade de Coimbra, e assistir está minissérie em solo português foi de uma grande emoção. Saudades de Coimbra 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹 Uma brasileira apaixonada pela cultura portuguesa. #nostalgia

Ah, o idioma português de Portugal é fascinante! É um encanto! E essa música na voz da Madredeus é esplêndida, é eterna. Saudações de Recife - Pernambuco Brasil!
Quer o português do Brasil quer o português de Portugal são IGUALMENTE FASCINANTES!!! E por que não incluir também o português dos restantes irmãos lusófonos (leia-se: Angola, Moçambique, Timor-Leste, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe e Guiné-equatorial)?! As diversas e insignificantes variações na fonética são simples pormenores que tornam ainda mais rica a língua portuguesa. A língua portuguesa não é propriedade exclusiva de um só povo, mas sim de tantos quantos se sintam felizes em abraçá-la no seu universo comunicacional do quotidiano:) O "ufanismo" exagerado, narcisista e despropositado que porventura alguns compatriotas meus possam ostentar, infelizmente, acaba sempre por semear a desunião, a discórdia e o ressentimento entre os lusófonos dos quatro cantos da terra, pois não passa de expressão bacoca e serôdia de patriotismo supremacista e exclusivista. No entanto, tais compatriotas se esquecem que seus ancestrais da época áurea do expansionismo marítimo também são ANCESTRAIS de uma grande parte da população brasileira, já para não falar da origem indo-europeia das tribos indigenas brasileiras que migraram para o continente americano na era glacial através do estreito de bering. Portanto, nunca devemos perder de vista que estamos falando de duas nações IRMÃS, Portugal e Brasil. A determinada altura das suas vidas, meus trisavós paternos oriundos do nordeste transmontano foram viver o "sonho do Brasil" - um análogo do "american dream" no século XIX e princípio do século XX - tendo sido muito bem acolhidos pelo povo brasileiro. Foi no Brasil que os meus trisavós paternos se emanciparam no "elevador social" da sociedade brasileira - embora trabalhando em atividades humildes como o pequeno comércio de pão, convertendo-o num negócio lucrativo q.b. - coisa que jamais seria possível num contexto de pobreza endémica e crónica no Portugal do século XIX, por exemplo. Em suma, foi o Brasil que tirou a "fome de autorealização e progresso pessoal" aos meus trisavós. Mas não foram somente portugueses que se mudaram definitivamente para o Brasil, a fim de fugirem ao triste fado de uma pobreza remediada e persistente estagnação social; pois, na extensa lista de migrantes europeus que viajavam rumo ao Brasil, também figuravam italianos, espanhóis, franceses, holandeses, alemães, ingleses e libaneses, entre outros. E a verdade "verdadeira" (pleonasmo cheio de intencionalidade) é que tais europeus do mediterrâneo e norte da europa jamais se teriam mudado para o Brasil, caso suas expectativas de emancipação social e económica não fossem baseadas em perspectivas e probabilidades mais ou menos realistas, e por conseguinte, francamente superiores em comparação com aquelas que eram proporcionadas pelos diversos países europeus de origem. A insofismável realidade histórica dos séculos XVIII e XIX é categórica ao demonstrar cabalmente que muitíssimos europeus conseguiram "singrar" na vida ao emigrarem para o Brasil. Nos dias atuais, o Brasil tornou-se uma potência regional superpovoada e supercompetitiva (nota: pelo menos, no plano interno e no plano da américa do sul), e, por essa razão, as hodiernas classes pobres e menos qualificadas dos países europeus já não conseguem obter quaisquer benefícios tangíveis na emigração para o Brasil. Ainda assim, os laços de sempiterna fraternidade entre Portugal e Brasil, e vice-versa, jamais serão rompidos, independentemente da intensidade dos fluxos migratórios bilaterais e quaisquer outros fatores positivos ou negativos. Saudações fraternas de um português transmontano:) Um grande BEM-HAJA ao nobilíssimo povo brasileiro!!! Um grande abraço.

Chamo a atenção para o cenário onde foi gravado parte deste vídeo: o cromeleque dos Almendres, perto de Évora. Trata-se de uma das mais antigas (há quem diga a mais antiga) construção megalítica da Europa , com cerca de 7000 anos. Deve ser a construção mais antiga existente em Portugal e uma das mais antigas da Europa. Por exemplo, o famoso Stonehenge na Inglaterra tem apenas metade dessa idade....
