@theninjakid 14 Ada didn't die.. if you shippers actually paid attention to the story. You'd know that it was Ada who kicked the anti-tank rocket launcher over to Leon - during the battle against the mutated Mr.X.

This game depicts so well in showing the path that Claire and Leon take. Claire is the rescuer and protector, and Leon is the ongoing fighter looking ensure that justice is done no matter the risks.
Her parents died, her home was destroyed, her city lost to the G. “I want a puppy.” Way to go Sherry 😂

To be honest, this Racoon incidents definitely scarred Claire, Leon and especially Sherry for life. Damn, never knew the incident could be so fucked up and terrifying in the Remake. Respect to you, Capcom, for creating another masterpiece by remaking one. :))

Stephanie Panisello oh my god you did amazingly, and I think she was a little skeptical when they told her Chris was on vacation because why would he go for a whole month on vacation and not tell her, she must know he’s up to something and I like that her best friend acknowledges in the letter that Chris trained her but she’s not invincible haha

Years and years ago, my little brother declared that Claire and Leon should get married and adopt Sherry. Today, I watch this remake where Sherry herself proposes such an idea. XD Although I can understand why Sherry would want that, as these two have given her far more love and care in one night than her own biological parents have her whole life. ^^
I really think she was kidding, but they really would make a nice family. Sherry has always been sweet as can be. Hard to believe with such rotten parents. To absorbed in their work to show their daughter the love that she greatly needed. Thank God for friends/protectors like Claire and Leon to look after her.
@@reggiemars2k8 Yeah, she probably was just kidding... but still. X) Although I can't help but wonder if they'll do a remake of Code:Veronica. If they did, I'd like for them to redo the part of Claire just leaving Leon and Sherry to continue her search. In fact, in this remake, Claire was told Chris was on vacation in Europe, so Claire could just bide her time and wait for Chris to get in contact with her. Although... in the original version, both Leon and Sherry were picked up by government agents, so maybe in the new version, all three of them are picked up and separated, meaning Claire did not suddenly abandon Sherry, but was taken from her again.
@@Kelaiah01 if they will redo CV I am hoping that they will give the right exposure to Claire in the original CV its like Claire will start the game kill the mini bosses and then Chris will take over kick ass big bosses of the story and earned all the credits and glory. When it should been Claire who started and should finish it.
@@chocolatekiss387 I'm not sure what you mean. In CV, Claire took on *two* Big Bosses: the Tyrant (which she had to fight twice) and Nosferatu. The only Big Boss Chris fought was Alexia. Although I will admit I was disappointed we didn't get an actual catfight between Claire and (a non-mutated/non-Alfred-in-drag) Alexia. XD

I started playing this game when i was 12. Now in my 30s im still following this franchise and most likely will still be playing it well into my 50s so long as they still release more titles. 😁

RE2 was my first re game too. I was 11 back then. I had played RE remake, RE2, RE0, RECV, RE4. I don't know if I want to 3 or not. :)

Been a Resident Evil fan since the late 90s. I'm in my 30s now and its crazy how much has change. This has to be the best the voice acting and scenes have looked so far. I actually enjoyed the scenes with Claire, Annette and Sherry. The emotional factor is there. My favorite is the battle with William. I got chills during Claire's bad ass moment @ 26:51 Annette: " whatever you do , dont stop until its finished" Claire : " Trust Me!"

In that moment I was thinking “why hasn’t Mr X ran into William Birkin in this game?” And BOOM! It just hit me in the face with that scene 10/10
What seems weird so far, though, is how Mr. X seems to get utterly disemboweled yet still comes back later with his trench coat and torso looking perfectly intact, (assuming this cutscene happens in both Claire A and Claire B). Was that just some other Tyrant that we are not told about stumbling by, does this cutscene only happen in one variant of Claire’s campaign, did Mr. X happen to heal perfectly and get his super suit patched in record time by Edna Mode, etc.?
@@markcobuzzi826 From what I've heard, there is more than one Mr. X. I think they were mass produced like any other tyrant.
@Potato Kotato If I remember correctly from the different trailers, though, the Tyrant appearing in this cutscene also may or may not have his fedora hat on, depending on whether you shot it off earlier. If this is the case, then it would imply that it is the same T-103 Tyrant which has been stalking the protagonists this whole time in the RPD/sewers... Plus, I get that T-103 Tyrants are mass-produced, but Mr. X has always been *the T-103 Tyrant* chasing Claire and Leon, rather than *one of multiple Tyrants* menacing them. It would just seem weird to me and kind of cheapen Mr. X as a character, when it is no longer the same individual chasing you throughout the entire game, until it gets damaged enough to become a Super Tyrant and you finally get some payback time with the rocket launcher in the end. Regardless, I also find it odd how Tyrants are generally always portrayed as being so unstoppable in the games and animated films, that they can easily shrug off massive bullets and explosions, keep getting back up for more, mop the floor with groups of Hunters, be barely scratched when multiple Lickers swarm all over them, wrestle with tanks, survive a drop in molten metal, etc. yet Birkin’s claws can suddenly go through one like butter.

I think a small part of him is still in there. This is my third time rewatching, and I only just noticed that when Claire first runs into him he's muttering "Sherry" like he's looking for her

@@NDScalio the only thing I like about leon old costume is the pads on the sides of his arms where his badges are. If i could, I would attach those pads on Leon's modern look. I liked his unlockable RPD uniform in Re4 more than in RE2 remake.

Broski he pretty much says the same thing, the line is just slightly different. The words don't have to be 100% the exact same, the message still comes across.

Amazing job by Capcom for this remake. Gameplay, environment, costumes, puzzles and all there is to it is just flat out brilliant. I hope they make a remake of RE3 Nemesis too.

At 32:13 they reused a Nemesis 'oof' sound I do like the changes made to the characters compared to the original, especially to Annette, they made her more realistic and not so 'melodramatic' and unreal, and going as far as having her be the one to give sherry the cure was a nice touch

In the original RE2 she looks like a maniac, here she's actually human and adds much more to the plot than a crazy bitch obsessed with her husband's creation like she was in the original game.
This does not make sense, Leon was supposed to have brought Sherry to the train and saved it. That's why in RE 6 Sherry says that Leon was the one who saved in Racoon City

Claire gave Anette the Antiviral and Anette injected it to Sherry while Claire is still fighting William.

I just finished the game and it ended with Leon finding us and that was it. Someone explain please. Also, I remember the tyrant dropping off a helicopter in a red container, do we still see that in Leon version?
