His newfound obsession with brass is pretty wholesome.
MKBHD: Matte Black Everything
I have been watching youtube for 15 years now. Spending enormous amount of time on this medium and this is hands down the best channel i know. I absolutely love your sense for design. Keep on doing this!
The final product looks amazing, good job!
Friendship with aluminum ended.
problems: exist
"because they can get soldered together"
So unique . . . his projects feel so professional. The only reason I could tell they’re DIY projects are because they’re so unique, but I really love it,
i watched him for hours but i never built a thing from it. like this is just therapeutic for me to watch.
I'm gonna build a touchscreen toilet bowl.
i did this on “easy mode” by reusing the laptop display assembly and modifying a raspberry pi 3d print template to fit the driver board then just fixing it to the back. the laptop hinge got reused and works great. just have to flip it around by undoing the nuts and adding new lubrications.
Matt: "brass really is a fantastic material"
Now this, THIS is finally going to make the mac guy at starbucks jealous. He used to shake his head at the vinyl wrapped ones, now look at him now, he's salivating.
Can we appreciate that he has to shoot The intro after building the project and act like he's gonna build it twice
best tutorial I've seen so far. You covered every possibility I was hoping for. The built in battery that you plug into with usb is THE best touch in the build. Its a perfect solution to get rid of the power cable yet its sleek and no extra finagling, just taking advantage of the built in features.
Amazing! Truly passionate!
Me listening to his speakers through my trash speakers:
everything this guy does is so interesting that i cant click faster...
Matt: brass really is a fantastic material.
Very cool, and surprisingly innovative given how technically simple it is! It was even kind of inspiring to see you put it together. Makes me wonder why no one else has thought of this
