  • I think thats why my dad loved Theismann so much as a 'Skins fan. He was a tough SOB, as we already knew with the front teeth situation and wore the single bar facemask, which begged to be grabbed by defensive players. Broke his nose 7 times with it. But this clip only further substantiates that while he was a man who loved the cameras, he also was a guy willing to do what it took to win. Thanks for making this video because it helps paint a different picture on some of the leagues best.

  • You caught Charlie Batch when he was with the Lions, but you missed his Classic 3rd stringer now in the game, Stillers vs. the Ravens . It may have been his last action in the NFL. If course the game was a Nailbiter alll the way, but Charlie pulled it out IN Baltimore, driving his team for a last second 40 some yard field goal . Sometimes in the 3 rd quarter of that game, down around the 10, the Steeler back cut left, and No one was there for Help. Batch saw this and flew out front, and blocked off the incoming Pursuit, and the back ran in standing up. Incredible selfless team play in a Rivalry game from a clipboard guy, who really had the Chops, when the Chips were down. Charlie Batch ...total Grit, and All Class!

  • 9:44 Favre proves he is not a human being. Favre ran a 6.1 40 with the Falcons. Here you see him running step for step ahead of Donald Driver who ran a 4.45 40. Here you see Farve drop a block on Orlando Thomas, who also ran a 4.45 40. If Farve were a human being, he could not make this block. I know owners and coaches want to save their arms but you don’t realize until you actually do it that simply being in the way of a defenseman, can make all the difference, and you’re still not likely to get hurt. • The things I was not expecting to see in this video: 1. A JaMarcus Russell highlight (didn't know there was any of them to be honest) 2. Hearing someone call Ryan Fitzpatrick a tremendous athlete 3. Doug Flutie being a better blocker than most offensive linemen who has ever played for the Giants 4. Russell Wilson being a better fullback than quaterback 5. OLD OLD Brett Farve sprinting downfield to block prime Patrick Willis

  • I was going to comment that I hoped Charlie Batch would be in the video, and there he is already 7 seconds in!

  • 7:00 That silent clip showing Johnny Unitas throwing a block. QBs back then were not tough cookies. They were cuts of tough steak.
