The later, in the wrong hands, can lead to to destruction, in the wrong hands (I won’t say,) as we learned about two months ago, when the washer and disposal died on the same day.

    • To be fair this is a really solid episode. Fantastic characterization, on point writing, minamalistic plot (no longer than it needs to be), good humor that doesn't detract from the plot and rather works with it, and some other details I'll explain later. Really this is exactly what a good parody is. Just really good media that knows the source material well enough to make fun of it in an intelligent way. Ranking it among single stand alone doctor who episodes I'd easily put it in the the top 100 (if not 10).

The fact that the plot holds up (as much as any DW plot does), it uses Timey-Wimey events and even has a clever twist for how The Doctor and The Master can share info secretly. It’s a masterpiece in its way, poking fun in a way that manages to be reverential. It’s a tricky line to tread but it does perfectly. … and it also involves the Daleks having a beam to destroy the universe, and sewers being a plot point….. sound familiar?
