if i were sam i would be fearless. how can you think anything bad is ever going to happen to you with a brother like dean. and even if something does, dean will fix it.
Right. I’d feel fearless and powerful and e writhing in between. But the one thing I’d ask in Sam’s case is he doesn’t let that fearlessness and empowerment make him cocky. He can be confident. We don’t need his cocky. Being cocky gets you killed.
Seriously I would be screwed though. Every problem in my life my default we just be “OK be calm… Tell Dean… and everything will be made OK“ “You’re 32” “Yeah, and my brother is 36 he’s much more worldly and wise than myself…“
Man same. I don't have any siblings and i often don't have anyone helping me with problems. It's always been myself facing everything. Sometimes i'm a little bit jealous of Sam (I luv him) Dean would move heaven and hell for him.
I only have one sibling, older, who has basically raised me and taken care of me like Dean has Sam. I can understand the feeling fearless thing, but really you mostly just feel a constant guilt and worry. They've always protected you and kept you safe, so what happens if something happens to them? Codependency can really destroy you when the idea strikes that something could take them away from you and then what purpose would you have left? The guilt because they've put so much into taking care of you and loving you, that you can feel useless or that you're using them. It's a rough thing, but I love my older sibling and I don't know where I'd be without her. She's my world and my only family
I think that Dean being best big bro made Sam grow feeling safe and that is how it should be to everyone. Life is life so unfortunatly it isnt so. I grew up living in fear mostly, but in this show I found the safe and comfort. ❤️
Dean saying "I don't know what it's like to lose someone like that" In season one is crazy to hear after seeing what dean goes through over 15 seasons.
just the amount of trauma he endured in the first two seasons is crazy.
It still stands tho, he meant losing a "romantic" loved one, and for what I remember, the only woman he actually loved like that was Lisa, who didn't die so... (it's been years since I saw this serie I could be forgetting someone idk)
@@allysonrose4661 not true, he also loved cassie who broke up with him and called him crazy after telling her his darkest secret, and then proceeded to sleep with him after they met again and then told him she didn’t wanna be in a relationship w him :/
@@metalheadvibes lol yes she was his first love, but my point is that he still never knew what its like to lose someone like that since neither Cassie or Lisa (his 2 only canon relationships i believe ??) died

Funny thing is, although Dean takes Pride in his commitment to protecting his brother, it's mostly about love and he's humble about it for the most part. But as the seasons progress Sam becomes more like Dean and can protect himself by the end. The reason Dean wasnt sad when he passed away was because he knew Sam was going to be okay on his own.
Dean was 50% brother and 50% father to Sammy Deans love and sacrifice for his brother is endless its truly an amazing beautiful bond between brothers

This show is literally one of the best shows of all time. As famous as it is, it still doesn’t get enough credit. Especially the actors. They all should’ve won tons of awards for their performances
Shockingly, It isn't as popular as most people think, plus most people who have heard of it haven't watched it cause of one misconception. If only more people gave it a chance they'd be hooked from the first episode. Funny enough I was also reluctant to watch despite it being recommended to me all the time, took me years to actually start it.

Their mother died, their dad barely around. They grew up just the two of them, Dean literally raised Sam. That's why losing each other breaks them ever harder than their own parents or friends. I can't imagine Sam's feelings when he had to live the rest of his life alone without Dean 😢...so glad they meet up again in heaven tho.

When Sam first got killed, before I knew better, I was absolutely destroyed. Most effective moment of the whole series.
Dean is like a fireman, soldier etc. that runs towards danger because he believes the cost is worth it. More importantly he always believed he would win!
Dean is the prime example of a protective big brother and showing of what you will do fr those you love

Every time I see one of these compilations I’m always surprised that through the trauma, pain, and loss, Dean is able to go on another day to make it through 15 seasons. So many heavy things happened to him and it would’ve been easier for him to just give up forever.
This is why Supernatural is so enduring and will stand the test of time. Jared and Jensen are so genuine the inside sensitivities making their outer appearances so attractive and drawing. All this and great looking too. ❤❤
I remember watching this tv show when I was 6 I loved the dynamics between Sam and Dean and their willingness to do anything for each other. I’m now 17 and I’ll never forget this tv show and the impact it had on me. ❣️

This is a perfect example of how a sibling should be treated. If you’re the sibling, it shows how you should treat your sibling. I’d have done just about anything to have had a brother or sister like Dean!!

I have 4 sisters and 1 brother. Growing up he's been the only one that I relate to and the only one that I can really count on. Big brothers like Dean are the best.(Even if I'm the one who likes to go after the things that go bump in the night and squish bugs)

Go back and watch the first episode. Sam has a normal life and Dean drags Sam into the fight with a lot of resistance to Sam. Dean's character isn't protective of Sam for the sake of Sam. He just feels guilty when Sam gets hurt because of Dean, so he attempts to protect him to save his own conscience.

No way, Dean was protective because he’s been Sam’s older brother/father figure since Sam was a baby, and he literally did everything even against himself to protect Sam. He made some bad choices but he definitely wasn’t protective of Sam to save his own conscience

2 seasons? I mean, I appreciate your thoroughness, but I was really looking forward to the last few seasons. 1) because so many clip videos are only the first 5 seasons, and 2) I found his brotherly moments the last few seasons even MORE poignant. Because by that point, Sam was truly an adult. A mature, capable and bada$$ hunter. But to the end, he was always Dean’s little brother. To the end (and often against Sam’s will), Dean protected him and took the lead. And Sam still looked to him to be the big brother. To take control of the situations, the confrontations, even the conversations.
Okay, I’ll make the 3-4 video first since a lot of ppl requested It. And then I’ll make one for 14-15.

It takes quite a while to get through all of the seasons. I think it took me a few months at least. But it’s rlly worth it. The shows is rlly entertaining and there’s never a dull moment

This show was so good when it started it just got to be a joke. It went on for too long and Jared like in the sixth to the end season is acting just turned the shit I think it was just collecting a paycheck. There’s a rule in acting that was actually told to Dennis Hopper by James Dean on the set of rebel without a cause. He said when you’re smoking a cigarette smoke a cigarette don’t act like you’re smoking a cigarette when you drinking a cup of coffee, drink the cup of coffee don’t act like you’re drinking the cup of coffee, Jared was acting so hard to act instead of just plain acting like he’s there getting paid to do he was acting so hard to act
