I really found my interest in them last March. I had also gotten a little bored with music, but after finding theirs I have found my interest back too. I had heard of them long before that but I stupidly assumed I wouldn’t be interested in their music, thought they were a lot younger - all the things one might assume wrongly. It wasn’t because the songs were in Korean because I have no problem translating, but because I’m 48 and thought their music would appeal more to teens and young adults. I feel bad I thought that now lmao. So one day out of the blue, my mother told me about a commercial she saw with a good song and extremely hot Asians lol (she didn’t know they were Korean or in a group at that time, just thought they were randomly hired to look good lol). I was like, that’s got to be BTS, they are pretty big right now I told her. She didn’t know what the commercial was for despite seeing it many times but she was so enamored by their looks and the song, she didn’t pay attention to the product (you’re a great help mom lol), sorry Samsung 😂 that kind of backfired on you with my mom. I pulled up some commercials BTS were in, turned out that it was Samsung, the black and white one where they played Life Goes On and all looked gorgeous AF. I finally really looked into them and was amazed how their music appealed to me after I didn’t think it would, turns out both my mom and I were hooked after that. My 67 year old mom has many BTS songs on her iPod lol. Luckily she loved more than just Life Goes On. She’s always liked boy bands anyway, I never really had much interest in them until BTS. She even has posters of them lmao. Since then I have been catching up on everything I can get my hands on since 2013 and they are just so awesome. Aside from the fact they are gorgeous, make good music, are extremely nice and classy, lovely personalities … but they are crackheads and I LOVE that. I have never laughed more than I have in the last 6 months since I’m binge watching everything. There is nothing like a great sense of humor for me so I really appreciate that. It has cheered me up in what has been a horrible 2 years for me. 💜

@@OwnedByKitties it doesnt matter how old you are when you "found" them....they enrich our lives with their, music, talent and contribution to humanity ( sounds a little corny but true) i am so happy for their success. Has opened up my mind, to new languages, culture, music and dance. K-Pop was not what I expected...now hooked on K-dramas too. Its nice to have a diversion in this crazy world. We all need a little Borahae and finger hearts on a tough day.

@@lesliethornton5699 absolutely, I knew nothing about South Korea and their culture (well very little), this did open up a new world for me that I very much appreciate. BTS are trying to make a difference in the world, I believe with sincerity (unlike maybe some in our entertainment industry where it doesn’t feel quite as authentic), I very much appreciate them for everything they have done. I found some K-Dramas too that I found very interesting. I have even looked into some other bands. I still feel bad that I discounted them so hastily, but I’m making up for it now.

I’m so glad he’s back and doesn’t have to be insulted through pictures anymore!!! Hahaha!! And I love seeing V happier. He was going through depression while I was… I feel kinship to him. And Jimin, really? JK was waiting for someone to take on the challenge of putting their fist through the broom, at least V did it with a duster, you could still hear the clacking of it hitting… hahaha. Love this always :) always fascinating, always real, always they look cool and gorgeous, always amazing and professionalism to the max.always gorgeous voice and music :) always impressive. Jimin's amazing James C's goofy impression is too hilarious. They gained a lot of new fans with the James Corden Carpool, myself included. This was during the start of the pandemic last year, it's amazing how many ppl discovered them during that time and felt that instant connection. The really helped me and a lot of people get through.

This group was, is and will always be a legend. Everything is perfect (thanks to the staff as well) and logically them are perfect.
JHope- Yoongi is going to sing today RM- 😳what? And starts looking over to Suga who starts to give a pretty good version of Dynamite!!! Hahaha!! I’m so glad he’s back and doesn’t have to be insulted through pictures anymore!!! Hahaha!! And I love seeing V happier. He was going through depression while I was… I feel kinship to him. And Jimin, really? JK was waiting for someone to take on the challenge of putting their fist through the broom, at least V did it with a duster, you could still hear the clacking of it hitting… hahaha. And you just don’t see enough of JK teasing Suga… him saying his young blood is keeping him warm, intimating that Yoongi is old! Hahaha.
