I never talked to a band member from the voices but I'm just so sure that they LOVE playing rock and metal songs. You can just feel it, they were all insane performances by the bands.

I highly admire these judges for knowing how to appreciate and seeing heavy metal as a genre of true talent and not just mindless screaming. Even if some are not into it, they knew how to enjoy the performances of these singers.

Props to the guy who sang cemetery gates. He had a great rendition almost on par with the original.
It was a very bold choice, too, though I suspect he would have chosen a different song if the auditions were full songs and not just a small part. The end of that song is just insane. Cemetery Gates is definitely one of my top ten favorite songs, if not in the top five. Phil's singing and Darrell's guitar work on that song were an absolute masterpiece.

The reason i like the voice is that the main judges dont judge the book by the cover. Every book gets read thoroughly. Other shows can't let you be yourself, they judge on looks first.

I just wanna give props to the studio band from the Lamb of God cover. That was a magnificent sound. Most of the other songs were kind of popularized, but that version was absolutely killer.

I'm not one of those, "this band saved me" type of people (and I'm not saying this doesn't happen, but to me, it seems way more people say that just as a general saying at this point rather than actually meaning it), but this music really helped me break out of my shell more. Would love to hear him do some Linkin Park, mudvayne and some older Atreyu, but atreyu would have both of them cause i wanna hear the singer bits and how he would do with it. None of the judges know how to work with these singers. Even though it's a talent and a few people have this ability at this level, they are not given the opportunity because the judges don't have this ability, knowledge or gifting to do it to help give feedback or much less develop their singers. They should have a hard rock metal artist on the panel to judge.

The degree to which the last girl managed to maintain the clarity of what she was saying throughout the screaming parts was honestly very very impressive. That is very difficult to do, as is made clear by the previous audition.

Even though the judges didn't enjoy or never pressed, but the whole of that band who performed live were enjoying that moment because it's really hard to find people choosing and singing that genre of song now..

Because their Finnish and think too long😂 the guys who took him just wanted to hear him all the way to the end. The other 3 judges don't prefer metal, they sing and do more like pop songs.
The dude made it pretty far in the competition in the end. There was another dude singing metal too and he came second in the whole competition. It was my favorite season of The Voice of Finland.

It's easy to like the melodic songs, but It's the growling and screaming that shows body control. I'm a die-hard Metal fan since over 30 years, and I've been educated in classical singing.....using your head in this case is less complicated than using your throat. Growling is art.

Loved the dudes doing Bodies. Looks like they were having so fun! The guy doing Judas Priest was awesome at making his tone just like theirs. So was the Iron Maiden guy. He did great on the chorus. Props to that one chick doing Lamb of God. She was frickin' awesome! And, as everyone else said, props to the band for their playing.
I would love to try this I could do way better iron maiden Jesus priest and the other Pantera didn't even get to sing the High note on cemetery gates
