Lots of depressed teens in these comments. I just wanna say that when I was 19-23 I had a really rough period in life. Lots of bad luck, my dad dying and all that was compounded by existing depression. Almost shot myself but I didn’t for some reason. I’m turning 27 this year and no longer wake up everyday wishing I didn’t. If I can get out of the slump I think you guys can too.

i've been depressed for like 5 years now... i've got no friends, only family that support me, not that much, but they do support me. i walk around school, all alone, seeing other people talking with their friends, some people in love, some getting angry at each other, while i'm there, sitting alone, watching everyone have a happy life while i'm there, hiding my tears, faking a smile everyday. the sad thing is, i'm actually a great guy and i never hurt anyone and i don't plan to, so why do people constantly avoid me? i'm extremely afraid i continue to be like this in the future... i've got 0 motivation to study, 0 motivation to do anything really, i just sit in my bedroom, watching other people's instagram stories with their friends. what a sad life i have. take care guys. i wish you the best.

hey there Luka ill try my best to give you my opinion on it as ive been wondering too,our natural instinct is to survive and reproduce right? so through out evolution weve evolved to be smarter and trade such is where capitalism and currency came from.and overtime we"ve complicated the whole process by adding new concepts such as schooling and getting education which slowly but surely rives us away from the main principle of life which is to survive and in a way we get overwhelmed by all these things in life that just keep getting harder.Society does not help too because we cause our own suffering and the only speices that causes our own miseryy and which then leads us to wonder why we feel sad and deppressed.we wonder if all we are going through is worth the pain and time,so we are basically being led by our instincts which is to go through the good and the bad to get what we individually seek in life.I hope i helped you there man as i myself am continuously searching for answers,i hope you have a good day or night and remember to create and evolve where ever you are on this planet....thank you

Here’s my philosophy on it. Keep in mind I’m only 20 so I may be stupid, but I think the point it just to enjoy it. Life has no inherent meaning, and as scary as that sounds, it gives you the freedom to give it whatever meaning you choose. There are so so so many things you can do and become in this world, and in the end none of it really matters. The only thing that matters is if you yourself enjoyed your own experience. So whatever it may be that brings you happiness, chase it. Don’t let it go no matter what it is.

my parents died 3 months ago in a car accident while i was at home with my sister i didn't know what was going on with them because they didn't come home for a day so we were worried and ....... 😪😪 sorry ... we were worried and it appeared in the news that a car crashed against another and it was my father's car I saw the license plate and I couldn't take it ... my sister said to don't do that so i went to my room. until today i feel really bad and wanting to commit suicide to see my parents again i would do anything even if i was going to pay my soul to have my parents back😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i miss you so much parents i hope that are in a better place 💔💔

hey there Luka ill try my best to give you my opinion on it as ive been wondering too,our natural instinct is to survive and reproduce right? so through out evolution weve evolved to be smarter and trade such is where capitalism and currency came from.and overtime we"ve complicated the whole process by adding new concepts such as schooling and getting education which slowly but surely rives us away from the main principle of life which is to survive and in a way we get overwhelmed by all these things in life that just keep getting harder.Society does not help too because we cause our own suffering and the only speices that causes our own miseryy and which then leads us to wonder why we feel sad and deppressed.we wonder if all we are going through is worth the pain and time,so we are basically being led by our instincts which is to go through the good and the bad to get what we individually seek in life.I hope i helped you there man as i myself am continuously searching for answers,i hope you have a good day or night and remember to create and evolve where ever you are on this planet....thank you

Here’s my philosophy on it. Keep in mind I’m only 20 so I may be stupid, but I think the point it just to enjoy it. Life has no inherent meaning, and as scary as that sounds, it gives you the freedom to give it whatever meaning you choose. There are so so so many things you can do and become in this world, and in the end none of it really matters. The only thing that matters is if you yourself enjoyed your own experience. So whatever it may be that brings you happiness, chase it. Don’t let it go no matter what it is.

my parents died 3 months ago in a car accident while i was at home with my sister i didn't know what was going on with them because they didn't come home for a day so we were worried and ....... 😪😪 sorry ... we were worried and it appeared in the news that a car crashed against another and it was my father's car I saw the license plate and I couldn't take it ... my sister said to don't do that so i went to my room. until today i feel really bad and wanting to commit suicide to see my parents again i would do anything even if i was going to pay my soul to have my parents back😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i miss you so much parents i hope that are in a better place 💔💔
