it's his shoes...they have a special heel on them that attaches to the board he stands on. Michael Jackson actually patented a design for shoes that interlock into inserts that were on the stage.

that is because, there is nails/pins on the board that goes up in hes shoes, and that is how he does it!
I saw at 0:36 that there is hooks in the board thats how he did it and also u saw him slide out of em
Micheal Jackson used the same method when he did the lean. There would be little rods that come out of the stage floor and his shoes would hook on to them. This guy was using the same technique.
because that's what you use to lean for Michael it's just the stage with 2 bolts or nails in it lollllllllll
I don't get why people need to get fake shoes so they can hook themselves up to the board and make it look like their doing the move I mean I'm 12 years old and I have almost got the move down I just need to balance my self out a little longer and I will be finished and I do the move in Nike runners.

Hello Alex :) Congratulations for your videos :) Do you use any kind of Ankle Support or just the special shoes with nothing more...i have a pair, and i'm start doing it...but when my back foot lifts up inside the shoe, together with the fear of falling prevents me from going further...it's really like this it's supposed to feel? You do very strenght on your feet and lower leg don't you? If you can give me some tips i woul appreciate :) Thank you very much...all the best :)
