I was there at the introduction of the M3 at the RAI Carshow in Amsterdam. The introductioncolor was red and it was georgious. My dreamcar also. We had a black on from 88❤

Hey Mark, beautiful paint job on E30, i have the same color 91 E30 convertible but been using it after the repaint for about 8+ years and slowly getting paint chips from rocks so recommend after you get it buffed do the PPF at least the front end or the whole car)) and then ceramic coat it for nice shine)). I had a beautiful straight six E30 back in the eighties in immaculate platinum silver and it was and is probably the finest quality car I’ve ever owned (out of the thirty or so nice cars I’ve had since) - Please find a way to keep it if you can, you’ll be really glad you did when you become old like me. Double check your tire thread pattern if they are all installed in the correct way. Seems like the rear tire at least for the right rear is installed opposite, outside wall is towards the inner wheel well.

They’re rotational so tires are on correctly. May just be installed on the wrong side

Nice paintjob. A comment on trash though. Everyone has trash in their paint u could reduce it by working in a cleaner booth new filters etc, generally u don't want to tack your basecoat, this is a practice which is only needed when u have over-spray with spot repair for instance. U had to tack it because u nibbed some spots. Also use a anti static de-greaser and try to wear a paint suit when doing big paint jobs.
