In the US any van or truck considered work or cargo related not built in the US gets slapped a 25% tarrif . its why you dont see small cargo vans in the US any more.

This really only works if they share the platform with other manufacturers, or other manufacturers design to fit with the Kia vision. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, I love seeing the future play out but there’s a lot of ifs. One more thing. That rear seat in the modular seating area … definitely doesn’t look comfortable for long journeys.
They don't need to, look what Tesla is doing...
@@ElectricVehicleSpace think you’re missing the point buddy. The benefits of a cross platform car in say 80% of car yields a lot of benefits it not only aesthetic cross platform looks but also reduces the price of the vehicles because of shared tech.
@ModProjects4306 Tesla sells the highest number of electric cars because they are better from all perspectives. People follow and buy Tesla for this ans many other reasons. Tesla offers excitement that no one can. Kia can follow the same idea. Offers better options and people will follow and buy. Simple economic basics.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I still think you’re missing the point. I’m trying to point out the cost of the division in platforms. Connectivity of platforms. Division in these things costs the consumer. Driving buyers by lower costs is basic economics.
@@ModProjects4306 You have to produce quantity in order to drive the cost down, increase efficiency and productive and find ways where to cut cost. It is what Tesla is doing by improving the process and the design, implementing robots. Look at Lucid is about to go bankrupt. You cannot sell a car that cost $300k to make for $75k.
