I have been looking for a grid like this for Months! Thank you sooo much! Also loved all the tips and information in the entire PDF and video.
Great tutorial but can you please speak up or add subtitles your voice is very soft. No offence.
Actually your voice volume is fine but I do suggest for the microphone to perhaps be closer to your mouth.
Love the colours and values you used! Gorgeous
Grace From Glaur This is a guest spot she's doing for the guild. On her own channel, the sound is mostly fine.
Thank you for not making this members only... I have watched this before and then started watching Susan on Turtle soup but idk now she only has members only so pfft. :) But again I am so glad your group is still up and running! I love Fiona!
You took my breath away when you cut that in half. Stunning.
thanks so much Sandra, glad you enjoyed the video :)
Yeah
Fantastic demo, so easy to follow.
The best I've seen. Now I see how to make the outside petals so the flower looks like a rose, not a one dimensional flat thing! Thank you very much.
Thank Elaine :)
Isn't it great when Saturday night TV is rubbish and I spend the night watching wonderful You Tube tutorials in stead :). Beautiful cane Fiona, I've watched lots of these rose cane tutorials but not tried it yet. One day LOL.
Thanks Rosie :)
Amazingly done! The rate of speed was perfect, and though you went so very quickly you thoroughly covered every detail with clarity. Thank you for the confidence you instill in others!😁
Not just another rose cane. So many good tips. Great work!
Thank you for your feedback Joyce. Glad you found it helpful. Do share your makes with us on our Facebook page too. facebook.com/britishpcguild

Absolutely fantastic video!
Beautiful!
I really love the trick to flip the slab of clay at every passage in the PM,to avoid distorsions! Very useful! Thanks a lot!
Thanks, Sarah Shriver's tip for that is invaluable :)
So easy to listen to and follow, thank you!
Thanks Glynis :)
I am a true beginner and really truly appreciate this video! 😁 I realize you uploaded this video several years ago, but you do not need to go fast. Hopefully everyone knows how to go to the upper right and click on those 3 vertical dots. That will then pull up several options, one of which is speed playback. It's easier to speed someone up rather than slow them down if they're speaking too fast. So perhaps for us rookies you can slow down. I almost feel your heart beating quickly as you were so worried we'd be bored. I for one appreciated ALL your tips and will continue to watch things I am grateful to learn from you!😊
I am so glad you enjoyed the video Rhonda, and thanks so much for your comments. :)

So beautiful
I’m glad I found this, for the tutorial but also I thought something was wrong with my pasta machine but it’s nice to know it’s not just mine that’s slightly off
so so so pretty!
Thank you :)
Great work and so nicely done! Loved your accent and tone of voice. Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱!
Magnificent and very inspiring
No matter what skinner blend you use for the plugs, you end up with a great result so long as there is a darker and lighter side. I recommend using a skinner blend for your wrap around the plug, so that you can progress from a lighter border on the inside to darker on the outside or vice versa.
yes you are right, and there are so many more improvements that can be made too, this was just a simple demo, nice and quick to show a basic rose cane. Thanks so much for your helpful comments :)
Thank you for your lovely videos!
This was WONDERFUL.... thank you so much

You are very welcome, and I hope it comes out well for you, I am sure it will :)
Thanks so very much about the ‘flipping’ the blend to maintain the rectangle. First I have heard of that. Well done, thanks again.
thank you :)
Wow THAT was so much simpler and faster than the video I watched just before yours! Beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial!! ❤️😸

At last I was like wow.... Best cane tutorial...u explained everything so nicely❤❤
Love this tutorial. I'm just wondering if this cain can be reduced down. I don't think it was mentioned. Im new to polymer clay so still getting my head around it. Thank you
It pretty cool! I have made gumpast flower. You just basically did what I did to build the rose.
I heard you perfectly, I have good speakers I guess. LOL. Love all your videos, your a great teacher. I have been having trouble learning from other polymer videos. So glad I found you. I have watched 4 so far. I will be actually watching this one and doing it with you tomorrow. After I have another run through. :DAlso great accent.
thanks so much Teresa, I am so glad you could hear it okay, and that you will be giving it a go, I love doing the rose cane, and hope you will too :)
This is the best one I have seen so far. Very concise and you get to it a heck of a lot faster. Some tuts do not cut the logs first and squeeze the diamonds the whole length then cut. By cutting them first it is harder to skew the squeeze as you go down, which can be a pain. Great Tut! I will subscribe!
So glad it was helpful, thank you :)
