  • Having a child in 12th grade, we made our way around to visit colleges - the most important thing to the tour guide at Boston University was pointing out all of the Starbucks shops on their campus. I really wish once your child entered college the food was healthier, it’s so hard for them to cook for themselves on campus, as a freshman at least.

  • Now this is really interesting to me. As a Target employee for many years, I am more likely to stop by at Starbucks while at work. I've definitely noticed the extreme high sugar amounts that you've noticed too. The fall and Christmas drinks had even more sugar in them than the ones you mentioned. I have been opting out for the Iced Shaken Espresso instead of the 40+ G of sugar drinks. I also prefer the vanilla latte. However, I think I should stop getting the vanilla latte as often because it still has a lot of sugar. What I didn't know was that drink you have there contains as much sugar as three and a half pastries! Wow, that is interesting when you compared those together! Thanks for sharing and God bless. - Isabel Mendez

  • I have a second comment to add too. Your channel is very helpful to me. Growing up in my Hispanic family, diabetes is common. I didn't really think much about whether the food I was eating was nutritious or not. KZhead channels such as yours have helped me to open my eyes. I can now see why it's so important to really think about what I am eating. Although I don't have diabetes, I have seen many examples of how a bad diet could lead to diabetes. I don't have weight loss goals. However, I should still stop eating junk food because it makes me feel tired. I have started taking some steps in the right direction. I take at least two Vitamin D fish oil Solgar supplements everyday. When I got COVID-19 last month, it wasn't as bad for me like I know it was for others. Thank you for sharing your helpful videos with us Bobby. God bless you, your wife, and your little girl. I'm so glad that she has this example of the importance of healthy eating! Thank you, Isabel Mendez

    • It does not surprise me that Hispanic food causes diabetes. Rice, bean, corn all so heavy in carbs. Glad you found Bobby!

      @MikeR65@MikeR653 ай бұрын
    • @@winemaplesyrupcoconutsugarHow was his comment racist? He was just pointing out that Hispanic/Latin diets have been or are still heavy in carbs. Before you try and go off on me, my mother is Mexican and her side of the family suffers with diabetes. Sadly my Aunt begins dialysis this month because her kidneys are shot and she has already lost vision in one eye. These are just two of her health issues related to diabetes and her diet.

Not only did it keep me awake during the drive, but it took me hours to fall asleep that night. I honestly could not even taste coffee in it over the sweetness and milk. • TIP! On the rare occasion I order a "sugary" drink at Starbucks -- I get half the syrups. It's super easy. Same with the hot chocolates. A grande comes with 4 pumps of syrup, I order it with 2. Again, not often, and you can still enjoy the drink with half the sugar in there. I can't even tolerate it with the full amount -- waaaaay too sweet for my palette. For food -- they do have good options - the "lunch" items that are just eggs, cheese, fruit, etc. are decent. And they have little bags of plain almonds, and plain popcorn, too. Cheers!

  • You can sub the oat milk in the shaken espresso for almond milk or whole milk, and that’d take care of the oil issue. Then the drink is actually not bad nutrition wise because added sugar isn’t too much either. The good thing about any Starbucks drink if you can easily adjust the syrups, milk, creams, etc to make them a lot better. For example, the peppermint mocha adds 8 pumps of syrup to a grande, which is 40g of sugar, but you could cut that in half and the drink is still very decent. Even if you do just 2 pumps it’s fine and then your 60g sugar drink is down to

We have a local coffee shop that's pretty popular for our state called Biggby Coffee even if you can't come out here can you look it up maybe and do a review of some of their stuff I don't know if they're exactly like Starbucks or if they're different but they're coffee taste better. Sorry to anyone that likes starbucks. Also I don't have a Costco membership I have a Sam's Club membership is there any way you could do a Sam's Club like you do Costco

  • I ordered the hazelnut espresso drink and it was not good at all. No flavor and I kept tasting the water from the ice. They failed with the items this season.

  • This is one place I don’t go to although it’s very popular, I make me a cup of coffee at home every morning, with very little sugar and fat.

  • Starbucks sells two legal drugs: sugar and caffeine, avoid startbucks if you want a healthy life.

  • Thanks Bobby. I normally make my own matcha 🍵 consisting of only matcha powder, water and almond MALK, that’s it no sugar, sweetener etc. About a month ago I had to get up early and out the door quickly so didn’t have time to make my matcha so I stopped by Starbucks and ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk and it was the worst tasting matcha I’ve ever had. No matcha flavor and too sweet. So for me Starbucks “no bueno”
