One Championship really needs their refs to learn proper Muay Thai rules. You're allowed to catch the leg and punch. This referee warned Stamp for doing it. Onari made the same mistake twice in the 1st fight between Stamp and Todd.

A lot of farang don't know about Thai scoring. In boxing and most mma, they score punches higher and each round is worth the same. Thai scoring doesn't care much about first round, and how you finish the fight. Also knees and kicks are scored higher.
I don't think they use true Thai scoring in One I think it's more like K1 rules with elbows

One Championship commentators who comment on muay thai fights, should understand more about the muay thai rule itself, the same fights that are done in stadiums or events that take place in Thailand. Because yesterday in the fight of the Stamp vs Allycia they were ashamed. In the 5th round in saying that Alllycia was losing, because who knows the rule knows that she was winning. And in the end the referees saw who actually fought muay thai.
One Championship needs new commentators.. straight up.

The commentators sure sounded like they were favoring Fairtex and during their commentary, they did not seem to give the same amount of information and credit to the other fighter.....sounded like inbuilt bias and favoritism

That’s what I call good strategy from Allycia. Wish the commentators would be more impartial, all the time they were rooting for Stamp. I love Stamp, but a fight like this is what a Championship belt fight should look like: great job from both fighters. Parabens Allycia!

I said exactly the same thing when I was watching live last night. They were just fixated on Stamp. They missed many of Allycia's elbows, two of which badly busted up Stamp's face. Allycia was landing the heavier strikes, her leg kicks drained Stamp's gas tank and she slowly took over. The commentators should be embarrassed about their one-sided commentary.
They were annoying. Totally favoring stamp and missing all the work Alicia was putting in. Thankfully the Judges made the right decision
This is the worst commentated fight i've ever watched, no diesrecpect do Schiavello. In the third round at 10:00 when Allycia landed 2 counter elbows that opened cuts on Stamp, right after it they said that Stamp was the one landing the better strikes, it was just ridiculous.
I tend not to listen to them. 😆
Agreed with the fact that the commentators were being a little biased? It was clear from round 3 that Allycia picked up quite a lot, with several key blows and they basically ignored the fact that Stamp wasn't aggressive enough after the second round. Hope they would give comments with a more objective perspective in such close fights. I was glad that the judges were awake, thank god. Well deserved win by Alicia. This is the first time I see her fight, love her defence posture with strong Muay Thai vibe.
I think allycia has more prepared for this fight than stamp you can see how good her stamina
Her conditioning was incredible but so was Stamps, the difference / main factor was the damage Allycia caused that sapped Stamps power and will.

All the people crying about Stamp getting robbed want to go back and look at the Alma Juniku fight. Alma won the first 3 rounds but Stamp took over in the 4th and 5th to take the win. Exactly the same scenario here except it was Stamp who won the first 3 but faded out in 4th and 5th to be dominated by Allycia. Good decision by the judges.

@@MrZevv judging by rds, Stamp wins, if judged as a whole then Allycia though i'd say it was the slightest of edge.. Stamp needed to find it inside her to go awol a bit towards the end makin it even & she would've probably taken it.. edit. w/ that said, anybody that's watched Stamp fight before, this wasn't her best performance & she's much better than this tbh..
Great win for Allycia. Executed a perfect gameplan by pacing herself early and capitalising in the later rounds when Stamp ran out of fuel 👏

What many people don't realize is that the first 2 rounds aren't important for scoring. Rounds 3-5 are more important hence why they are called "money rounds" or scoring rounds. Allycia won rounds 3-5 since kicks/knees score higher than punches and also because she showed the judges that Stamp couldn't stop her from landing kicks (yes, subtle things like this can also help you win in Muay Thai).
The right straight punch and body kicks drained much of Stamp's vigor and she ran out of strength in the last two rounds. Congrats, Allycia. 👊👊👊

My Scorecards: R1 - Stamp R2 - Stamp R3 - (close round but I will give it to Rodrigues for damage inflicted) R4 - Rodrigues R5 - Rodrigues I am a huge fan of Stamp Fairtex I don't know why she's not in shape to all out war. She's not motivated to fight at all. Congrats to Rodrigues she deserves it!
As far as I can see, Stamp's coach didn't cheer her as much as Rodrigues's did.
Yeah i don't know what shape Stamp was in but half the fight (if not more) was both of them just standing still looking at each other. Watching this live almost put me to sleep.

Hats off to Rodrigues& her team for the Game plan& strategy Clearly see that she doesn't throw everything with power on the 1st&2nd round and she was right. . She let Stamp Throw everything with power while Rodrigues stick to the tight guard defense and use her high reach advantage on kicks& knee in the clinch and when round 3-4-5 comes we all see that Stamp is really running out of her fuel. Good games!🔥
You are right , Rodrigue performed distinctive performance while stamp is not in good shape and is rather emotional , when bad emotions covers her ,, means she have high possibilities losing the match , very good reflection.. match against US phenom Janet Todd .

Stamp needs to focus on training which discipline she is fighting next it showed in her endurance last night she needs to go back to the drawing board and focus on getting her belts back i think she can still become 3 time champ in all disciplines but must concentrate on one at a time its a hard road but she can get there. Alycia fought a good last half of the fight which got her the win against a fatigued Stamp. She has shown this fade in 4th and 5th round as of late. Well done Alycia a well fought fight and a well deserved win.
There is no possible way you can score this fight for Stamp under Muay Thai criteria. She was dominated in the last three rounds.
Give me a break! how was she dominated in the last 3 rounds?? I scored the third round close, but Stamp just nicked it. The only rounds Rodriguez clearly won, were rounds 4 & 5.

I have the pleasure to see her fighting here in Brazil for 2 times,one she won by Ko the first fight I see her fighting the second one was against an athlete of my former Gym she won by points but leave a cut by elbow she is a true warrior with a great potential,she deserves It! The Real champ!

Allicia is really good. Her elbows had the power like a god. Her use of Muay Thai is classic and full of original spirit. She deserves to be the Queen of Muay Thai.
They don’t score the bout per round. Stamp won on the 1st & 2nd round maybe even the 3rd but faded away in the last 2 rounds. She was kinda gassed. Good win by rodriques 💪🏼

จุดอ่อนของสแตมป์ในช่วงหลังมานี้ชัดเจน คือ โดนไม่ได้ โดนแล้วยุบแล้วยวบง่ายมาก ออกอาการอย่างไว พออาการไม่ดี แรงไม่ดี แล้วคู่แข่งได้ใจทันทึ แล้วอาวุธมวยไทยหายหมดเลย กลายเป็นมวยหมัดอย่างเดียว แล้วเป็นมวยหมัดที่ต่อยไม่แม่นไม่หนักซะด้วย ลูกเตะหายไปเลย เข่าก็ไม่มี ถ้าเป็นยังงี้ต่อไป ดูแล้วลำบากนะ ตัองปรับเยอะมากอ่ะ น่าเป็นห่วงบอกตรงๆ

คือเราเล็ก ช่วงชกสั้นกว่าฝรั่ง จะเป็นมวยหมัดอย่างน้อยที่สุดคือต้องแกร่งอ่ะ โดนแล้วไม่ยุบแบบรถถัง แล้วถ้าไม่หนักก็ต้องต่อยแม่น เดินแล้วต้องไม่หมด แต่สแตมป์ไม่ได้มีคุณสมบัติอย่างที่ว่ามาเลย ควรต้องกลับไปชกวงนอก เน้นลูกเตะดีกว่ามั้งนะ ยิ่งถ้าเจ็บง่ายยุบง่าย เหนื่อยเร็ว เก็บอาการไม่เก่ง ยิ่งไปแลกวงในไม่ได้ใหญ่เลย มันผิดมันพลาดไปหมด โอเครนักมวยอาจไม่รู้ตัวเองว่าเป็นไง แต่คนเป็นเทรนเนอร์เป็นโค้ชนี่ดิ ไม่ช่วยนักมวยคิดเลยได้ไง

Very good performance of both girls. I appreciate allycia humility ans respect. It shows what kind of person she is. I thought that stamp would win but she was too tired from round 3. Allycia has won by her crescendo fight tactic, very good match. For me, stamp has the power, allycia the Stamina. If stamp works on stamina, she will be from far the best.

After this loss Stamp should think if she needs to focus more on mma or muay thai
stamp won 1, 2 and 3 and the other girl won 4 and 5, It was after stamp got cracked with an elbow in the nose she went down hill and most likely from her nose being messed up. nothing like not being able to breed properly. I know how it feels. you could see it change, and the fight wasn't the best for either of them. miss having the audience there as well, but here One Championship is number 1 for combat sports. always have good fights, and they actually make people earn their title shots and that.
