  • If anybody pays him 2 years, 50 million.... good for him, but that GM should immediately be fired.

    • Someone will offer him that. There will be teams with money they have to spend and adding a veteran shooter with championship pedigree to a mediocre team would appeal to some.

    • Caruso is an ELITE defender while Klay is a cone that couldn't guard ME. On offense, Caruso has offball game AND can create with dribble penetration drives, while Klay was NEVER good at that and even less so now that's washed up cuz of age+injuries+shit attitude. Caruso was also pretty key into Lakers 2020 chip, while Klay hasn't been relevant as a contributor to a finals championships win since 2017@@damondarden6298

  • A dude who just went 0/10 in an important game is in no position to dictate anything. He'll get what gets and like it. Because he's cooked as a player.

    @user-vc1ed9ty8f@user-vc1ed9ty8fАй бұрын
    • Yeah 0/10 with the defense focused on doubling Stephen. Jk was ok, but he was far from aggressive. He's always driving then posting up and passing. Like a dog protecting it's tail.

  • Im sorry but nobody “deserves” a supermax. These guys are already insanely wealthy. If klay is done so be it. This is nuts. So you get 10s of millions just because? Klay almost always underperformed. Had some super seasons a long time ago. He makes millions…this is nuts

    • They think they deserves to be paid based on what they have done in the past. They expect front offices to jeopardise their futures to give them a “thank you” contract.

  • You get paid max dollars for what you have done + what you do + what you are forecasted to do. At this point, Klay can only get paid 1/3 of that based off what he has done. But, I hope the Warriors pay him as much as possible to kill their cap and chances. 😊

  • Klay has nothing to prove , just dont want him to end up with a serious injury that impacts him for the rest of his life. An agreeable starting base salary with bonuses for a field goal percentage ,turnovers, games played,etc. Ya it's business,it applies to construction workers called piece work for a hell of a lot less money. Wishing Klay and the Warriors all the best in their endeavors.

  • “Stuck” is the perfect way to describe GSW with Draymond, because his usefulness is directly tied to Steph and Klay’s level when it comes to shooting the ball

  • I so agree with Dan here, 1st it's a business, it's not personal like they said, but if we think business, get a ride of Klay and Chris Paul, me personally I would have kept Jordan Pool over Draymond... Anyway, everything comes to a end, it can be sad, but that the order of things.

  • Klay ought to just stay in GS if they'll have him. They paid him, he was injured they owe him nothing in that regard. He can blend in there and fade away as he's been doing. If he moves on, with a big contract he immediately becomes a story, good or bad that could tarnish his career.

    @unclesnake3766@unclesnake3766Ай бұрын

  • how about a sign and trade of Chris Paul for Ingram? Pelicans desperately needed a point guard last night - and IF Zion is going to be that good, they dont need Ingram

    @shorafarahani@shorafarahaniАй бұрын
  • The problem is - you can draft, but can you develop?? At a certain point, teams have to look deeper at how they develop guys. Everyone isn't plug and play from day one. Some guys - especially younger ones - require patience, time and development. The Warriors thought they could compete and develop concurrently. They did not.

      @garyspence2128@garyspence2128Ай бұрын

  • GSW should fire KT11 at once! That bum needs to go, and stop calling him a HOF, he's not, he is just a glorified teammate of SC. He will never average more than 20 anymore if he's no longer with the GSW.

  • All the Warriors need is a little size. Not to play the if game, but they had like 10 games that they blew massive leads in a stacked western conference. They could've easily had 56 wins. They still had a good record despite having so many things going against them. But fr if they just add size and don't have as many things go wrong, and develop their young players another year. They could be a sleeper. Just saying. Move CP and Wigggins.

  • Sacramento is probably the worst defensive team in the NBA. Dan just talking

    @andrem.thomas332@andrem.thomas332Ай бұрын
    • Worst? No. Look at the defensive stats since Keon Ellis started playing more and, while they aren't great, they have become much more solid. Would I count on them to effectively stop good offenses consistently? No, especially for rim protection. But they are much better perimeter defenders than past years with Fox, Ellis, Mitchell, and Murray playing solid to excellent defense this year.

      @jaywinger79@jaywinger79Ай бұрын
