  • Dhar Mann is right, they are changing lives. Hundreds of people die of cringe every year. Dhar Mann is making sure that everyone becomes immune. Some gain their immunity from one video, others need a few boosters.

  • Fun fact: there was actually a real-life case of an innocent man who was charged with murder, who was in fact at a Dodgers' game at the time the crime was committed. What saved him was the fact that the show Curb Your Enthusiasm happened to be filming at the game at the time, and one of the shots from the show's extra footage shows him in the background. Without that, he may have been sent to death row.

Indeed, I thought that's where this video was going when he mentioned the Dodger game, only instead of an episode of Curb, it was an episode of Dhar Mann.     • It would be very drawn out and boring, most likely. Court trials can take months to years if the defendant waves their right to a speedy trial (which is logical if the defense needs more time to gather evidence.) In order to make it entertaining and even bearable for the average viewer, they’d have to cut a lot of procedures out of the script

    • Okay, but surely there's a way to conjure up a court case that's interesting enough for TV, right? By "realistic", I don't mean your average, everyday case, but one that could generate headlines but could plausibly happen. And of course you would cut out all the boring parts that aren't strictly necessary and compress the events into whatever length is appropriate. By "as accurate as possible", I don't mean literally as realistic as humanly possible to everyday life, I mean one that doesn't violate established courtroom laws and procedures without acknowledging the unusualness and making it part of the story, that kind of idea.

  • This is legit from a Documentary on Netflix, how this guy was at a baseball game while a crime happened near by & they so happened to be filming an episode of Seinfeld or something & they actually caught him on camera & it proved he wasn’t guilty. That was a Better Call Saul lawyer & I loved it. The logic here… Seeing how flustered Devin gets is so amazing to watch. Everyone makes fun of this dudes videos, but somehow watching Devin freak out to this extent just makes me laugh. They BROKE him in 30 seconds- I love it & totally here for it. The fact he just gave up at the end & was like “You know what? Whatever, let’s just go with it at this point” has me dying.

That treating poor people like garbage is okay, as long as they're actually poor? I also hate how he always inserts his name into the dialogue to make himself look good... "Dhar Mann is my favorite! Did you know that he gives all his money to the homeless. Who could ever not like him, all he does is spread love and joy to the world!" That type of stuff, and as I'm sure you know, I am in absolutely no way exaggerating. it's all so gross. There's a reason his videos target kids, they're easier to BS and fool than grown adults. I agree that the US justice system is racially biased and blacks are on the receiving end, but come on. This video takes it up to the extremes. This is what a 3 year old thinks court is. And the "moral of the story" is the most trite BS I've seen in at least 20 years. I'm actually angry knowing the original video exists and someone was idiotic enough to make it.

    • every defendant claims they are innocent. 99.99% of the time they're lying. Most defense attorneys do their job not by proving innocence, but by showing the prosecution failed to meet their heavy burden.

  • How does Dhar Mann and co. not feel anything putting out something so inaccurate? I write short stories and for the best accuracy possible, I do as much research as I can. But a lot of the time, the stories may still not be fully accurate and it bothers me so much (maybe because I'm a perfectionist). I don't know how they can settle for intentionally not putting out accurate content. Madness.

    • I completely freaking feel that. I do the same thing and feel the same way, and I don't even plan to publish most of the short stories I write. Mind you, I enjoy researching weird shit like "are there any ruined temples to Asclepius in Rome?" (there is, but the only intact remnants are built into someone's house, IIRC) or "what happened to the Navy dry docks from WWII in Savannah, Georgia after they were shut down?" (I'm pretty sure at least one set is now the foundation for a waste management plant). It's fun. But not being able to nail certain things down can definitely bug me.
