Love this ! Most collection videos are 'hey look at these slabs of cards' which, also very cool, but it was great seeing all the cards that you've actually played + have an emotional connection to. Seeing damaged cards that are still a beloved part of a collection A++
All the old cards in the big box is so sick, I wanna play with them itd be nice being his friend lol
The organization of these drove me nuts but everyone has their own way of organizing their collection, that's part of the fun so, thanks for sharing what a beast of a collection you have.

I was really wondering, how do you keep track of whose cards are whose??? Like does dad come separate you and take the cards when you're fighting over whose is what? Are you going to get a Poké-lawyer to catalog and write a pre-nup for all 50 million of your cards? Who gets the house/cards/kids down the road if you split? Yeah I mean unless you have an indelible emotional memory footprint for every card (which if known would massively increase your rep as Pokémon masters), having your cards mixed together seems like a super dicey situation 🤣

Awesome collection bro! Just started collecting again maybe 2 months ago when I saw the prices of some gold star cards I used to have as a kid over a decade ago. Man did this video take me back... Keep it up!
Back in 2010 I decided to obtain one 1st Ed. pack of each of the WotC sets since I already owned 1st Ed. Base and Neo Destiny packs (the hardest to find). Jungle-Gym Challenge were $8 each, Neo Genesis was $18, Neo Discovery was $11, Neo Revelations was $12. 1st Ed. Base and Neo Destiny cost about $70 and $18 respectively. If I had a time machine I know how I'd make my fortune haha!

That mew ex at 10:15 is legit my most favourite card of all time. I remember being in 4th grade and a kid in my class having it and me being jealous lol. I was lucky to snag a near mint one off troll and toad last year, so yeah it feels good to buy your childhood.
I bought the Team Rocket's Dark Charizard unlimited in NM condition in 2015 for $15, when I started re-collecting cards. I wanted to buy back all the memories I had as a kid with Pokémon cards, unfortunately I didn't have any cards from my childhood, so I had to buy everything in 2015 that I have in my collection today. I'm glad I got back into the hobby in 2015 before the prices got so crazy in past year or so.

This is an awesome collection, Andrew. I've always wanted to be a content creator with Pokémon and always wanted to make a video like this. I have a very similar collection. The first 7 sets completed, opened boxes of LC that are filled with c/uc/r that I opened 7 of about 10 years ago, same with an Aquapolis box. A 1000 count box with Base-Team Rocket staples. Maybe one day I'll finally make the video.
wow man!! very cool thanks for showing everything off, i've only been collecting for 5 months now but it's been sooo fun, my only first edition rn is a cubone lol eventually i want a gardevoir/gallade collection that looks like natalie's!! your signed misty made me want to cry wow that's so sick!! ALSO the bf and i are working on a cube rn and it honestly intimidated me so much (so many things going on! how many types? special energies?? deck size? ahhhhhh!) but we are making progress and collecting more playing cards simultaneously, we have only mock drafted since we're still unsure of the ratios and whatnot so i guess we'll see how it goes haha thanks for the motivation!

you should definitely grade some of your cube cards, especially the signed ones, and then buy some beat up heavy play to replace them into the cube.
That complete rocket set is beautiful... To celebrate getting started in collecting again, I recently purchased a complete unlimited edition Base Set, as well as a complete set of foils from Jungle and Fossil. My plan is to purchase 2 boxes of each set as they release, then get the singles im missing as i wait for the next set.

I'm glad someone else has a huge fascination for the Rocket series and the Gym Heros series. I've been trying to go around grabbing what I can of the first editon Gym Heros. My prize though is my 1st edition Blaine's Arcanine! It highlights my binder and I'm looking to get it graded here anytime now.

Very cool collection, I love all the old cards sm there way better then the new ones. I wish I was hard core collecting in 2004-2009ish but I was only like 1-8 years old at the time so I can’t blame myself. But i looked thru my old cards found a lot of cool ones brung back a lot of memories kinda got me back into it
Nice collection! Your stories behind the cards make you a legit pokemon collector! Any pokemon collector will have a bad condition card that has a story associated with it.

I love the sentiment of "damaged cards need love too." Obviously you want to have a collection of nice cards.. but if you like playing the game, those are the best cards for it! Especially the older cards. Awesome collection!

Someone's been spoiled/lucky, wow... Your friends are lucky too tho, building them decks and all :) I kinda wished I had friends to play with (and parents who'd help me with my collections instead of constantly (flirting with) throwing them away) ...even tho I'd just buy these cards to admire the artworks and not ruin them... shame I lost the oldest ones but hey, I've kept the next bunch, and never got into it again. Maybe I'll be inspired to eventually. Keep enjoying it, man!

My mom threw all my cards away when I was like 11 or 12 cause I said I wanted to get rid of my toys. Like the actual ones. And had all the cards in my dresser. So after we moved I was looking for them and had nothing. Had about 3000 cards from the 1995-2006 editions.

It's pretty mind blowing to see the price of base set zard over the past few years. It's basically been a $50 card TOPS for like the past 15 years and all of a sudden... BOOM Back in 2016 I had a chance to get a complete Legendary Collection set for like $100 and passed on it because I didn't think it was ever going to appreciate (and I don't really like the look of the cards tbh). What a fool. Also missed a sale at my local shop by a day on a complete first edition shadowless set for $1100 that same year. You just gotta try and not think about these things when you're a collector...

Long shot that I’ll get an answer, but... You have a lot of different binders there. What specific brand/model is your favorite?
we think the ultra pro and BCW binders are best for storing cards. Monster binders look coolest but they aren't great for sleeved cards and can leave marks on your cards if you don't sleeve them
What penny sleeves are those that you are using? Love how snug they fit!
I have that exact Evolution mewtwo, I pulled that card from a resealed pack..but the mewtwo turned out to be real😂
